It works. Cleared out the odor after my fridge was out of service for a couple of weeks (waiting on a replacement part).

I've had this in my fridge for almost a year and I have no complaints. The packaging was easy to open. It leaves no smells from itself. It's small and takes up very little space in my fridge. I had it in my freezer for a while when I first opened the box. So far it's working well and is a good value for the money. I recommend one for all of your fridges

So far it seems to be working really well. I haven't had it for a terribly long time so I don't know if it will truly last as long as it claims. There is no scent from this little do-hickey at all. It's small enough to fit in the narrow shelves in the door of my refrigerator. I love the color! I love that it's not plastic, I feel like it'll be more durable and hold up. I got it because I make homemade dog and cat food and I'll stick it in the fridge so it can cool enough for me to smoosh it up. That being said, there's liver in the food and, well, it stinks. I noticed that this little thing did a great job of keeping the smell of the liver down. I wasn't immediately overwhelmed by the stench of liver when I opened the refrigerator door like I was before. It would probably work even better if it weren't in the door and was on the shelf with the food. I'll give that a shot next time and see if that helps even more.

This thing works. I had a pungent mix of a salad with onions, cabbage, etc. that scented the whole kitchen when I took it out of the container. Container was just a styrofoam box from a banquet so not sealed well. Out this newly received deodorizer in the fridge and there was NO SMELL at all inside the fridge! It works. My only nitpick is the info on the size said it was 35 inches in one area - it is not. You can hold it in your hand so I think they mislabeled the size.

Lobster water leaked in Refrigerator- enough said right? Cleaned, scrubbed, sprayed, two boxes of baking soda, nothing. The smell gagged when you opened the fridge door. Aired it out, took it apart and cleaned every nook and cranny. Literally nothing. Honestly, I can usually make any smell go away. I googled, oh -the things I tried -nothing. Then I came across this, really good reviews and at this point I'll try anything. I bought it and set in in fridge, nothing for the first few days then POOF one day the smell was gone. I couldn't believe it. I made everyone come smell the fridge, deathly afraid I had gone nose blind to the smell. Don't even think about this - just order it

This does appear to reduce or eliminate odors in my refrigerator. My reason for only giving 3 stars is the clearly documented use of formaldehyde in the product which I may come to regret in years to come. I’m just not knowledgeable enough to know if the simple presence of it will cause health issues or if it would actually need to be exposed to food (and ingested) to cause health issues. Just something to be aware of.

I like this! I ordered another to use in the big freezer in the basement. I like the color so you can see it. Kills fridge odors well. Not all that big so takes up minimal space. Just open the pkg and place in fridge I think it will hold up for the 10 years it is supposed to last!

Used it for 2.5 months, not in the fridge, but bathroom and living room; it works well, love this orange colour deodorizer, will purchase again when it is available again. : )
