Great and easy replacement for the joysticks in the Rog Ally Z1

Right trigger wasn’t working on my RogAlly. I am not a DIY guy but I followed instructions on Youtube. The included tools in the package made it easier to take out the screws. It works!

So far it works as expected only issue was is that the quality of the tools they provide is very low – I know this is a pretty cheap part, but I had to use a different screwdriver. Other than that, it was a pretty smooth insulation with few issues. I used a YouTube video as a guide

The joystick was exactly what I needed and worked well when I put it in. The tools provided were incredibly helpful, especially the tweezers for the itty bitty screws and ribbon cables. Definitely keeping them for future repairs! The ONLY issue I noticed was that the stick had a very mild drift when I first used it but that was easily fixed with calibration in the Ally. If it becomes a problem I'm sure they'd send a new stick.

Component was broken upon arrival. The tools it comes with work fine, though.

Part and tools came in very quickly. Tools were cheap but 100% usable. Part fit exactly as designed to replace my left joystick. Testing after the swap it feels the same as the original stick. I used the iFixit guide and the whole process only took about 15 minutes.

Wish I could get it without the tools as I already have them, but really it came quickly, installed fast, and now less than 20 minutes after getting the box I have the Ally calibrated and working again. I'll update if it fails, but so far I'm all positives.

The piece i got was already faulty. Its waste of money. Dont buy it from tge respective seller. They are selling faulty module
