I have always used Brevil, this looks stylish and. Matches my colour scheme perfectly. It has Silver buttons and levels, it seems to work as it's meant too without any issues

Toaster works very well when you get used to pressing right handle then left. Nice pattern too

This is better than my previous toaster ( different make) which looked great but left you with anaemic looking toast even on full power. This toasts pretty well and looks good, although I'm not sure if the metal tines will last any longer than they did on my old one . Overall fairly pleased with the purchase although not so keen on the fact that the toasting slots are not independent from one another. You can only use the right hand slot for 2 pieces of toast. The left hand slot will only stay down if the right hand slot is engaged first. If the left hand slot were to break, the whole toaster would be unusable.

I bought this toaster (and the matching kettle) in October 2022 and when it arrived, I was pleased with its appearance. It was quite stylish, and looked good alongside the matching kettle. I mainly bought it due to the Breville name, and assumed it would be well put together, and consequently last. I was going to leave a review back in October, but something told me to wait for a while. My reasons being that the toaster appeared very light in weight compared to my last one, and although it looked good, I wasn’t convinced about the quality. Sine purchasing the toaster, it has worked well enough although the “use the right hand side first” that many people mention in their reviews, did seem strange. I was also wary about pulling the levers down, to load the bread for toasting. Because the item is a bit on the light side, the whole toaster will lean forward towards your hands if you’re not careful. It just didn’t look or feel like it would last too long. Sure enough, today 16 April 2023) when I lowered the bread for toasting, the mechanism wouldn’t stay in the down position, and very little heat could be felt as well. Basically it’s just given up the ghost and is now headed for the tip. My decision to wait before leaving a review was well justified. I do wonder how many people have left a good review soon after receiving their toaster, but then like me, found the item was cheaply made and never gong to last very long. Six months light use before breaking doesn’t impress me. And I am aware of an identical toaster that has also broken in just a few months too. In short, I have now had to buy another toaster, but from a different company. Very disappointed that this toaster hasn’t even lasted a full 6 months, and they’re not cheap . The replacement toaster I bought today from an established High Street retail company looks and feels much more sturdy, and has a two year guarantee! A lesson learned! There is no way I can recommend this toaster. Very poor quality indeed, and best avoided.

Great toaster can’t fault it

Can’t use the left side without using the right side? I got for gluten intolerance but wasted time as the left won’t work without the right side being on. Ok if you can cross contaminate but wasted my money need to get another one with completely separate workings
