High quality coffee every time
My husband and I really enjoy a high quality cup of coffee, so for years we were strictly pour-over people. However, after having our first child making a pour-over coffee in the mornings became a nearly impossible task. We wanted to find a new machine that brewed coffee to the same standard we were used to, but didn’t require as much time and effort. After researching options, we decided to try Aiden. This coffee machine has far exceeded our expectations. The machine design is a work of art, even down to the packaging. The set up process could not have been easier and even included a step that allowed us to set the specific elevation of our city, which every coffee connoisseur knows is essential to the perfect cup. We love that this machine comes with two filter box sizes, giving you the option to make a small or large batch of coffee. Other features that we think are exceptional include; the capability to make cold brew coffee, guided brewing which tells you the exact measurement of grinds needed depending on how many cups of coffee you’re making, the ability to select the type of coffee roast you’re using, the double wall thermal coffee pot which prevents the coffee from burning, and the fact that the machine automatically blooms and pulses the grinds for you, ensuring each pot of coffee as smooth and flavorful as possible. Automating anything can be tricky because it usually compromises the final product, but that is not the case with the Aiden. Even if you’re just entering the world of gourmet coffee, the Aiden will walk you through each step of the process in making coffee exactly the way you like it. We have found the brew settings we like, and Aiden allowed us to save them by creating a brew profile. We use this profile every night and schedule a brew to start when we wake up, making the mornings so much easier and much more enjoyable. If you’re in the market for a high quality coffee machine, I’d suggest Aiden a million times over.

Excellent coffee and incredibly easy to use
I’ve loved using the Aiden brewer. The screen and interface are extremely intuitive, and I love how it gives very specific instructions based on the coffee you want to brew, including how much coffee to use to the gram. It takes a lot of the guesswork out. While I love a good cup of coffee, I'm not a coffee-making expert by any means. This machine made it easy to use - and the very first cup tasted great! The 1-2 cup option is fantastic. I hadn't even thought of that as an option. I thought I could get either a whole pot or nothing from a brewing machine. But the Aiden handles the smaller batch really well. And it makes it easier to make just the amount I want - or switch to a different roast or decaf later in the day. The coffee quality has been excellent so far. And it also looks amazing on the counter. It's very sleek, simple, and modern. I’ve already had a few people comment on it. Highly recommend!

High teach, sleek but easy to use, high quality product
This coffee maker is fancy and high-tech, sleek and modern but easy to use. You can choose the type of brew you want or you can let the machine decide for you depending on how much ground coffee you add to the basket. It also offers options for scheduling which is nice, it feels like someone made a cup of coffee for you in the morning when you wake up. The carafe is stylish, pours nicely and keeps the coffee hot. It is easy to clean, which was one of my main complaints about my previous coffee maker (Breville with grinder incorporated). Also easy to lift and fill the water resevoir. It is quiet and allows you to choose the alarm when the coffee is brewed. Overall very happy with the purchase, I am learning how to make the perfect cup of coffee for myself and I am getting closer!

The Absolute #1 Coffee Brewer On The Market in 2025
This is the absolute best coffee maker that can make 1 of 2 cups of fantastic coffee or a big carafe holding 1.5L of coffee. Whether you use the recipes that are created by Fellow or your own using the App , you will still make some of the best coffee you have ever tasted. The Fellow Aiden may take a day or two getting used to but once you get the hang of it you will never make coffee on another coffee brewer again with the exception of espresso. Like any other coffee brewer the Aiden can’t make a cup of true espresso. I personally believe that if it could the making of espresso would not only add to the cost of the Aiden but also subtract from its purpose—brewing a really fantastic cup of coffee. If you have ever watched some of the various coffee ‘experts’ review the Aiden on YouTube one of the negative points they make is the build quality. However, I can tell you now that Fellow has to have done something about it. The reviewers all claimed that the plastic was too soft, of a very low quality causing the Aiden to bend under pressure when pressed down with some minor force on the top right corner. It even showed than when this happened the seams on the top of the brewer separated that again showed the poor quality of the build all to keep the price down as much as possible. When I received my Aiden it was the first thing I checked because had it been true I really might have returned it to Amazon. BUT, it simply was not true. I can only assume that Fellow changed the plastic used in the manufacturing process because my Aiden is made of a strong plastic of high quality. THANKFULLY! Of all the coffee brewers made today of high quality, this one is the best I have ever considered. Because of the carafe’s straight walls when emptied there is no coffee retained as is in all other carafes. There is nothing at the pour spout to keep some of the coffee in the carafe. The water tank holds 1500 ml of water which equals the maximum size of the carafe. And the water tank is removable for easy filling. Two brew baskets come with the Aiden. One is for making 1-4 cups of coffee and the other for 5+ cups. The filters used are the Melitta #2 for 1-4 cups and the Melitta flat bottom 8-12 cup filters for the 5+ cups of joe. Also in the same area is the brew head. In there you will find a switch with 15 holes where the water comes through and down onto the coffee grounds. When the green coded cone-shaped brew basket is selected for making 1-4 cups of coffee, you must turn that switch counterclockwise or to the left so that water comes out of only three (3) holes which are located dead center of the brew head. If you forget to make the correct shower head selection the Aiden will remind you with some beeps and will refuse to brew the coffee. On the flip side of that coin, when wanting to make 5-12 cups of coffee you must select the blue brew basked and turn the selection switch clockwise. This will open all 15 drip holes so that all the coffee grounds in the round, flat-bottom brew bracket will be properly doused in water for making the best pot of coffee possible. And like the other basked of choice, the Aiden will not brew the coffee until the switch is turned to the proper position. When you first plug in the Aiden you will be made to input certain settings so that it can properly make coffee. Those settings include the language, the chime, clock in 12 or 24-hour time, and even your elevation above sea level where the Aiden is currently, etc. On the Aiden there is a small round, full-color screen where everything from settings, menus for brewing coffee, the recipes I mentioned earlier, and even a game to play. Once you go through all those selections and menus you may find that it is too small for inputting your own coffee recipes and other things. Almost everything you can do on the screen and the control knob you can do on the App that you can download to your iPhone or Android-based phone. I strongly suggest that you download the Fellow Aiden App as soon as you unbox your Aiden, plug it in and follow the instructions for setting it up. The App is extremely easy to use which give you almost complete control over making coffee of your choice. You can create your own recipes and through the App have the Aiden make that coffee recipe for you. You can control things such as bloom time, bloom Ratio, bloom temperature, number of pulses (up to 10), time between pulses, and time of each pulse, etc. And there are many recipes of coffees that Fellow provides at no cost when you set up the Aiden to your WiFi network. Basically stated, Fellow has made making coffee not only easy and fool proof but has provided everyone with the best coffee maker on the market today. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FELLOW AIDEN COFFEE BREWER!

Excellent and consistent coffee every time!
For as long as I can remember I’ve been making my dark roast coffee in a French press. Every time I had tried to change it up and try a new method, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. Automatic coffee makers ended up making a bitter, over-extracted brew. Pour over provided better taste, but didn’t quite get the richness that the long extraction of the French press accomplished. And AeroPress wasn’t very efficient with its “cup at a time” brewing method when I wanted more than one cup. I then heard about the Fellow Aiden. I wasn’t sure at first that a machine could replicate the manual methods, but decided to give it a try. Boy was I impressed! When I brewed my first pot using the built-in preset for “Dark Roast”, the coffee was everything I had been looking for. It had the richness and body that you get from the French press process, but had eliminated that “muddy” flavor and texture you get from the stewing of the grounds. I was convinced on the first day! Moreover, each subsequent brew I’ve made, whether by pot or single cup has been consistent and excellent. In addition to the other features that make the Aiden great (stylish looks on the counter, extremely well made and thought out components and carafe, easy clean up, and scheduled coffee for the morning - a real benefit after my years of having to think about making coffee before having coffee!), the Aiden has opened up my world to trying out some other types of coffee out there that are more in the medium and light roast categories. In the past I’d found it hard to approach some of these coffees, as I wasn’t very “scientific” about my brewing technique. Since the Aiden fully automates this “science”, I’ve been building a new appreciation for different styles of coffee. I’ve even programmed my own preset or two for some specialty coffees that didn’t seem to fall into the “light, medium or dark roast” categories very easily. Overall I’m extremely happy with my Aiden. Hands down it’s the best coffee maker I’ve ever owned. Thanks Fellow!

I love my Aiden - super high-end features at a reasonable cost
I've owned your basic 12-cup coffee maker for a long time, even had the same model now twice in a row. I knew I was missing something and can say without a doubt, the Aiden has been my best "just for me" purchase in a long time. Apple is my gold standard...once I started unpacking the product, I knew I made the right decision. A unique locking system on the outer box to avoid internal shipment breakage. Once opened, the custom fit protective foam uses the absolute minimum required..and then the first touch of the product. Damn, the powder coating finish just feels so good in the palm. Looking at the unit on our countertop is a treat everyday, the Aiden's design is as elegant as Apple products. Now who knew that making coffee could be so refined and tweaked to your hearts content to get that just perfect brewed pot of coffee. Well, if you want to do that, easy peasy with the app, just experiment away. The app is intuitive and makes playing around a breeze. Really unique is when buy their beans/grinds and you use their pre-built settings you don’t have to experiment....of course you can modify those if you so desire. The carafe is double walled stainless steel, so your coffee stays hot without using a burner plate to over cook the coffee, so it actually costs less to use and here in California, our electricity rates are too high to begin with. Unlike every other coffee maker I've owned, I don't have to move it from under the cabinets when brewing as no steam escapes, so no concern for damaging your underside of the cabinets. One last thing. Every coffee pot always seems to drip when pouring right at the end. The curvature of this carafe spout is perfect, I never have to wipe the counter. The Aiden has hit all the big design elements and then goes further to make perfect all the little annoying things I've always been annoyed about.

Very disappointing
I ordered a Fellow Aiden coffee maker and a Fellow Opus grinder to hopefully, based on the marketing hype, achieve some brews that were beyond what I was getting with my current coffee maker. My current coffee maker is not consistent enough in my opinion. Outcomes range from very good to so-so. My Opus arrived about four days before my Aiden, so I had the chance to use the grinder with my current coffee maker. Huge difference. If you are not using a good grinder, I highly recommend that you get one. I was using a Krups blade grinder with a momentary "on" button. I now believe that you can never achieve consistent results with such a grinder. I believe that more often than not, I was grinding the beans too fine. While I'm at it. I also recommend that you get a digital kitchen scale to weigh your dose of beans. The morning after my Aiden arrived I made my first medium batch (750 ml) using a coffee-to water ratio that I had been using, which was about 1:16 and about what it generally recommended. I first tried the Instant Brew option, which works like any basic coffee maker. I ground the beans using level 7, which is finer than recommended. The result was disappointing. Okay, grinder level 7 might have been too fine, so the next day I went with the recommended level, which is 9.5. The result was virtually tasteless coffee. Over the past week, I have tried default guided brewing and custom brews to vary different parameters such as water temperature and number of pulses. I also tried stronger ratios. Today I upped the dosage to 1:14.5 after having already upped the dosage to 1:15. Also, I tried making small batches to use the smaller showerhead. This whole week has been a series of bland tasteless coffee. It's not like I have not brewed these same beans on my current coffee maker with much more flavor. One thing I find puzzling is that all of my tweaks have little to no effect on the outcome. If there is a satisfactory recipe, figuring out what that might be is virtually impossible when tweaks have little to no effect. The Fellow help videos allude to the Aiden being "very efficient" at extraction. Really? Based on my experience, I beg to differ. I've owned various coffee makers in the past, and of course they did not have the level of control that the Aiden has, but tweaking was pretty much a matter of determining the best ratio. And now that I have the Opus grinder, tweaking the grind level is important parameter to tweak as well. The key point is that these tweaks should result in a noticeable difference. Also, with the Aiden, if you start with mainstream settings, you should achieve a brew somewhere in the ballpark and then tweak from there. My experience is that I'm left in the middle of the ocean, and no matter which way I paddle, I have no sense of making any progress toward land. In terms of flavor, the Aiden has been a disappointment. However, I do like other aspects of the Aiden. Some review videos have criticized the plastic construction as flimsy. Not so. It's quite sturdy. Any failure over the long term will not be the plastic. I like the insulated carafe but my general sense is that I would like better heat retention. I suppose that you could pour hot water into the metal carafe to heat it up before brewing to prevent some of the immediate heat absorption that might occur, but I'm not sure I'd bother with that on a daily basis. I also like the size and appearance of the Aiden. The Aiden is too expensive for a coffee maker that produces such bland results. Something I find perplexing is the numerous reviews citing good coffee. I wish I knew such a reviewer who lived nearby so I could try out what they call good. What I'm getting ain't it. With regrets, this coffee maker is going back.

Excellent Coffee, But Plastic Build Holds It Back
This coffee maker delivers where it matters most—the coffee. Brew quality is excellent, with consistent extraction and great flavor whether you’re making a single cup or a full batch. The controls are intuitive, and the overall design has that clean, modern look Fellow is known for. My only real drawback is the build materials. Aside from the thermal carafe, most of the unit is made out of plastic. It doesn’t feel cheap, but at this price point, I was expecting more premium materials throughout. That said, performance-wise it’s hard to fault. If you prioritize great coffee and thoughtful design over all-metal construction, this is still a strong choice.

Stand Out Coffee
Alright, so I’ve been a die-hard French press guy for years, but I finally decided I wanted something I could set and forget without sacrificing quality or control. Enter the Aiden coffee brewer. This thing absolutely delivers. The settings, the level of control—you can really dial in the perfect cup just like with a French press, but without the hassle. Plus, the community around it is super helpful if you want to tweak your brew. And yeah, it looks pretty sweet on the counter too. Solid upgrade.

Serious coffee maker for people who care about their brew
I love this thing. The brew profiles are where it really shines — there's a great community of people sharing profiles for different coffees, and if you can't find what you're looking for, you can even use an AI like Claude to help dial one in. The only quirk I've run into is occasionally the finish tone sounds elongated, and the screen gets stuck for a few seconds if manually selecting a brew profile. Looks alarming the first time it happens, but it's never once affected the actual brew, so I've learned to ignore it. Hopefully, a firmware update will eventually fix it.

Good coffee, questionable quality product
The machine makes good coffee, but I question the quality control. I've had a handful of problems with what I consider to be a very expensive coffee maker. The face plate has fallen off a number of times. The clock runs fast enough that it gains about 3 minutes per week. Finally, it seemed "stuck" one morning when it was mid-brew, emitting a constant sound until my wife tapped the side of the machine. For the price I would expect better. Edit: it's now November and the machine no longer works. No matter how often I attempt to flush it, it tells me the flush failed. I can't run a descale cycle because it says I need to add water. Not even close to worth the cost.

Makes my mornings way easier
I’ve been using this coffee maker every morning and honestly, I love it. The touchscreen/UI is super simple — even when I’m half-awake, I can figure it out. I set the timer the night before, and it’s so nice waking up to fresh coffee waiting for me. The design looks so good on my counter, and the coffee actually tastes great. The thermal carafe keeps it hot without burning it, which I didn’t realize I needed until now. Refilling the water tank is easy too — no awkward messes. Overall, it’s made my mornings smoother and a little happier. Totally worth it.
