It has been helping me study alright, however it is not always clear on answer format and is open ended as opposed to to being given options like I’m told the exam is supposed to. On top of this it has several areas where the calculations for the answers are blatantly wrong. (Ex. (4^2) = 25 when it should be 16). It is ok when used with other practice methods and you can spot the errors, but would not recommend using by itself. Also the book is missing chapter 2. Looking through the comments after using this book in action highlights the common phrasing by a lot of the 5 star reviews of this book, while they also do not touch on the actual content of the book at all. In short, find something better and get this is you want support.

Its a good book

This book falls short as a reliable FE review resource. Many solutions are either overly vague or outright incorrect, making it difficult to follow along. Worse yet, the book is completely missing Chapter 2, skipping straight from Chapter 1 to Chapter 3. When reviewing for the FE, having clear, step-by-step solutions is crucial, but this book often omits key steps, rendering many of the ten practice problems per section ineffective. This issue appears across multiple sections, creating unnecessary frustration and extra work. Additionally, the section descriptions feel AI-generated, focusing more on why topics are relevant to civil engineering rather than explaining how to solve the actual problems. As a result, this book fails to provide the guidance needed for effective FE exam preparation.

I just got the book two days ago and took a Quick Look at the content. I just took an exam 10 days ago but I noticed that the type of problems that I have in the book are very similar to what have showed up in my recent exam ! Combined with the bonus gift of 16 hours E learning , it’s something you show not miss if you are preparing for an FE Exam. Highly recommended.

This is a great study guide for mastering the civil exam. It helps to give you effective study strategies. It has a structured learning path.

This was an okay book. The nice thing is that it is only 145 pages. However, a lot of the math is incorrect. For example. there are practice problems at the end of each section. In one chapter, I identified 4 mistakes in the answer key on basic math. I have an attached an image below. It makes it hard to study when I am trying to correct not only my work, but the books work as well.
