So far, after using the watch for a week now, I am impressed. I've used other smart watches and this has been the best so far. Seems some of the difficulties I've experienced with watches in the past are better with this T Rex 3.BT connectivity is better. No issues linking up to my phone. And when loosing connectivity due to distance or such, the watch and the Zepp app seem to reconnect very well. I do not, and have not had to go through any BT reconnect process since my first pairing.The heart rate monitor seems much more reliable than other watches. The sleep pattern and logging of such seems very accurate and reliable as well. As with most watches, lots of functions and apps I'll never use, but the ones I do use, seem to work well.I like the excersize tracker functions. One of the features I never thought about, but once playing around with it, I have found it very useful in incorporating into my routine.I did notice the compass and GPS all seemed to calibrate and function much quicker and with more accuracy with this T Rex 3. I was pleased with that result. The mapping feature is working and kind of interesting. Not a feature I've used before, but can see where it could be worthy of trying.The ability to use phone, SMS and such works well, with replies and messaging working well paired with my Samsung Galaxy.In general, typical features found on this watch all seem to work as advertised. The Zepp app has many, many features which seem to be interesting, but haven't yet played around with. No issues with downloading or pairing or data updates from the watch. All in all, seems like Amazfit and Zepp work very well together.As with most smart watches, the navigation through its apps and functions can be "trial and err", but I find this watch to be very near others and no more difficult while being and very similar to others. The Zepp app can be intrusive with permission requests and such, but always having, and giving the option to allow or deny. All depends on what the user finds useful or not.Watch itself is very lite on my wrist. I'm not a big fan of the band, more like a plastic, silicone band, but works fine, just not my preference. Display is very nice and bright, clear and crisp. Battery seems to be working as advertised as well. Vibration intensity and volume of the watch is beyond sufficient.All in all, very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this watch. Don't have any real downsides to it yet. In using this watch and considering it's cost, I can't image why anyone would spend more for other watches. Seems this watch is very near perfect with all the bells and Whistles anyone would need at a reasonable price.

I've had several smart watches from Galaxy, Garmin and they left me wanting either in accuracy or battery charge limits. I bought andnused the Amazfit Falcon a while back and I have to say at $500.00 it works as well and better than the more expensive Garmin.I saw the TRex 3 was at a good price so I picked it up. I'm on month 4 now. It holds a charge for about a week if you vigorously exercise an hour a day. It has a robust build so it's unlikely to get wrecked. I have a chest HRM that paired with it easily but really I have fould the watch itself has the same readings without.You can load music files to it and I have. GoPro has an app that works as a remote which can come in n handy. The wallet holds all cards and the scanner seems to pick them up.It runs off the Zep app whichmisnjust as good as themothers and syncs with Strava. For the price thismis the right watch to buy and just as good as the Falcon which was twice the price.

I have use this now for a few months and I can say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I like the tracking of my day and sleep tracking obviously nothing is going to be 100 percent accurate but this will be close enough. The app does have a paid subscription but IT IS NOT NEEDED to use this watch which is great because I hate buying something then having to subscribe to get the features that I should of gotten in the first place. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a watch that doesn’t like changing it every day like I do because I would always forget to do so.

I've had this watch now for about a month, and it's barely left my wrist! Previous to owning this, I was using a Garmin Fenix 5 Plus. Currently, that watch is being sold refurbished on Amazon for $270, and it is nearly 7 years old. The T-Rex 3 blows it out of the water and really does compete with the newer Garmin's on the market for a fraction of the price.The UI of the watch is super simple and super fast. I was amazed at how quick everything felt, from switching apps, watch face fluidity, using maps, checking messages, and reading the sensors. Speaking of apps, adding and removing apps is very simple and can be done on your phone or watch. Apps also bring one of the first downsides, the Zepp App app store.There are not many apps available yet, the ones that are available are "perplexing". See the app store does not have any reviews or rating system, it also does not tell you who made the app until you click on it. While browsing, I had the constant feeling of distrust. Do I trust these apps to work, to not leach my data, to feel like it is part of the ecosystem. Zepp must add a review system, verified apps, and a way to view a creators' app catalog.On a super bright note, the battery is amazing! As I show in one of the pictures, after 15 days of 24/7 use, I have 39% battery left. This watch does not leave my wrist unless it has to, and it still has just under half battery left. That is also without sacrificing features. I have HR Monitor every 5 min (constant when working out), sleep monitoring, sleep breathing monitor, and stress monitoring every 5 minutes. The screen brightness is set to auto, but it being winter, I have never had it try to use peak brightness. Compared to my Garmin, the sensors seem to be very comparable, and the GPS is spot on.Speaking of the GPS, the map system is probably the weakest feature. The maps themselves are great; responsive, smooth, accurate, but the way to use the map is frankly awful. I'm not sure if I understand the point of 6 Satellite Positioning if I still have to manually download a section of the area I am in to use it. Yes, you are given a 420mi x 248mi rectangle to download the offline map. That is, as far as I know, what I understand of it. The maps you do download include ski routes and contour, but there is no interaction with the map on the watch. If you want planned running routes, you have to make them at a computer and upload them to the watch.The rapid fire of what is left: Zepp Flow/AI works well enough, but I did not find a real purpose for, the AMOLED display is phenomenal, all the environmental sensors seem accurate, and I would trust them, the workouts work well, there is currently no support for NFC payments for US, there is no Spotify support (but Sonos got support?), sleep tracking is great and feels accurate, the readiness score is meh, but I don't rely on it to tell me how I'm feeling, water resistance so far works for daily activities, but I am waiting for others to test at depth, and lastly the weather seems to lag when changing locations quickly (e.g. flying or driving long distances).Overall, I feel that this watch has immense value and is hitting way above it's price. I would make the recommendations to get a screen protector since it is only Corning Gorilla Glass, and to get a case/protector for the watch itself.
