Comfortable, effective, and part of my weekly routine
I genuinely love this weighted vest — it’s been a game changer for my routine. The way it distributes weight in both the front and back feels really comfortable and balanced, and in my opinion it’s especially great for women looking to build strength, overall health, and bone density. I use it weekly, usually in the 20–32 lb range, and it always leaves me feeling worked in the best way (full-body soreness without feeling wrecked). It’s perfect for 1–3 mile walks, longer after you get used to it and once I’m warmed up I can even jog to really amp up the workout. You could wear just cleaning the house and feel the benefits. Unexpectedly really helping me gain lung strength. I grew up around second hand smoke and didn’t realize until my late 20s that this has always probably held back my cardio health. Working on that with these feels very positive. The design is well done and doesn’t feel overly bulky or corny. It seems well made, comes with weight bags, and the front pocket is actually useful — I can fit my phone, keys, tissues, and even a small bottle sitting straight up and down. I liked it so much that I told my mom and her husband about it and they ended up purchasing one too. Highly recommend if you want an effective, wearable way to add resistance to everyday movement.

I'm petite and it fits me well!
I do really like this weighted vest. So I went with the medium weight to start the 12-18lbs. I am a petite woman and works well for me. I'm currently 125lbs and 5ft. I love that the sides are easily adjustable for the days you where a sweatshirt underneath or for us ladies that get very bloated on occasion lol. There is a ton of slack left so it would fit someone bigger or a man very easily and someone smaller. When I wear it the straps are almost completely pulled as small as it will go maybe like 2 or 3 inches to as small as it goes. I do have a chest thats on the smaller side I'm 36B and I have no issues with hows it fits over my chest. Its very durable and stiched together well. I love the pocket in the front it velcros tightly so you can put money etc and not worry about it falling out. Its a bit of a bummer that my phones does fit in the pocket but it won't velcro. The pocket is just slightly too small in depth to seal the velcro. But also take in mind my phone is on the larger side. I have a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with a waterproof case on it. The front flag patch is velcro and you can change it out. It has a few reflective strips on it for night jogging. I also purchased the one with a liner that velcros on, which is great so you can wash it. I do recommend buying the liner because thats one of the only things negative. Its hot and sweaty. Its not like the backpack vest where you chest is exposed and I'm short so it completely covers my torso front and back to the pant line. Its is very easy to put on just put it over your head and clip the sides. Clips are easy to open. Weight is perfect for me I'm not super fit but I do workout some and do 10k steps a day. I purchased this vest to get that little extra workout during my steps. However if your someone whos easily prone to plantar fasciitis. I don't recommend using max weight right away and to start with using it during just a portion of your usual steps and gradually increase. I made the mistake of doing too much too soon and my feet were in pain. The weights are little sand bags with a pull tab to easily take them in and out. Overall I'm happy with my purcahse and I would recommend it. I hope this helps because I know I did alot of research myself before going with this vest.

The Weighted Vest I Needed
The best is well made easy to adjust easy to add or take away weights. Shoulder straps are comfortable and weight is evenly distributed. The velcro pocket up front holds ones cell phone. After a few uses I can tell the cardio is put under more demand: heart rate is almost where it would be when I was running. I can definitely feel the workout in my upper back muscles the next day. For the price and the quality I would recommend this.

Comfortable, Decent Value, A Tad Smelly
I'm 5'11 and 190 lbs. after massive Mounjaro weight loss over the last year. I walk for fitness nearly every night, but even an hour of walking was proving not to provide much benefit these days. In order to add resistance to the walks, I bought the APEXUP Adjustable Weighted Vest (20-32lb). I debated the size, worrying that the 20-pound minimum might be too much at first, but I wanted enough of a challenge that it would be worth it over the long run. The 20-pound weight is enough to be a challenge over several miles, without being uncomfortable. I have terrible posture, and have noticed that the weight of the vest reminds me to keep a more upright body position. I have only worn it three times, but can already tell that the extra resistance is going to really be a benefit. The bib-style vest was more appealing to me than the vest style. I slip it over my head and it stays comfortably in place. The side straps under my arms keep it snug, but remain comfortable and unnoticed. I went with the orange because I mostly walk at night to avoid the Texas heat, and visibility is a big priority for me. The bright orange color will stand out and complement the reflective strips in oncoming headlights. Many vests filled with small iron fill on Amazon have a mix of poor reviews due to tears and leaks at the seams. Only time will tell for me, but out of the box the material seems reasonably tough and durable. Keeping in mind the risk of leaks, I am careful to hang it up on a heavy duty hanger after use, and don't handle it roughly. My only complaint, and thus the loss of one star, is the strong synthetic scent. Not offensive, but always present. Even more so in the hot sun. I've smelled a lot worse, especially from cheap products from China. I'd just be happier without it. The base 20-pound weight cannot be removed, so I am not going to attempt to wash it.

Leveled up my workouts
I bought this vest looking to get a little more out of walking. I’ve had it for about two weeks and taken it out on maybe half a dozen walks and am really liking it so far. It seems well made and it’s comfortable. There’s a bit of a smell when brand new but I didn’t find it too bothersome and it does dissipate with use. Once the straps have been properly adjusted it stays put. I haven’t had any issues with rubbing or chafing. The base 12-pound weight is distributed throughout the vest in such a way that it doesn’t put excessive pressure on my shoulders. Pouch on the front is handy for carrying keys, phone, sunglasses, whatever small items you might want or need during your exercise. Since I do a lot of walking near roads the reflective elements are appreciated. Seems to dry out quickly enough when it gets damp from sweat. I weigh about 175 pounds and am currently using the vest loaded to 16 pounds. For a brisk walk, the vest definitely takes the effort level from easy to moderate while still being sustainable. My heart rate can easily be 10-20 bpm higher than the same pace without additional weight. The effect is especially noticeable when hills are added in; what was no sweat before will have me puffing a bit by the time I reach the top. Aside from the cardio benefits, I can also feel that my legs are putting in extra work as well. Definitely pleased with the purchase so far, and with 16 pounds giving me the challenge I was looking for I’m glad there’s still room to step up to 18 pounds. For anyone who’s been walking for a while and finds they’ve plateaued a bit and wants to step it up - this is an excellent choice.

The vest is comfortable and easy to wear!
This item is heavy coming right out of the box. Once you get it out of the box you can choose to keep all the weights on the vest or remove the extra weights. The vest is durable and easy to put on and easy to adjust the side straps to make the vest fit better around the sides. The vest is comfortable to wear as the weight is evenly distributed. It can be worn with all the weights or none of the extra weights. To take out the extra weights there is a cover over the weights that is velcro'd. They are small bags that can be removed one by one.

Worth it
It’s comfortable, sturdy, very well made and works great. It makes a 4 mile walk, feel like 8 miles. It doesn’t smell bad, like I’ve read in a lot of reviews. I’d, however, put it out on my balcony, over. Cold works great for smells.

2 Thumbs Up for Weighted Vest
Fits nicely and doesn't move around much. Also really like the flexibility in being able to adjust the weight of the vest up and down.
