I almost didn't by this air fryer due to the incorrect measurement listed. Under the measurement section on the Amazon page it lists the height as 15.04"H. There is only 14 inches between my countertop and the bottom of the kitchen cabinet so I was afraid this would be too tall. I used the view it in your room feature which showed that it would fit on my countertop but was afraid to trust the results due to the incorrect height listed. Luckily I stumbled across a You Tube video by Meem who reviewed this T-fal air fryer in her video, she measured it in her video showing that the height is about 13 inches NOT 15.04" that Amazon listed. Also the view it in your room was very accurate. The item looks EXACTLY on my counter as it did in the view it in your room feature. Had it not been for Meem's video of this air fryer showing the actual height I would not have bought it, thinking it was too high and wouldn't fit under my cabinet. All that being said I am very glad I decided to get this air fryer. It's my first one. I really like that it has a window so you can see your food cooking as well as the no shake technology and no need to preheat. The infrared coils start heating as soon as you turn it on so no need to preheat which saves cooking time. It's very easy to clean, and has different cooking modes as well as a water well where you can add a little water for steaming veggies and according the user manual will make meat and poultry more succulent. T-fal is know for quality products so I'm sure this will last me for years to come. I wish the user guide showed more foods and which setting, how long to cook them for and at what temperature. Infrared air fryers heat up quicker and possibly hotter than traditional air fryers so recipes from other sources such as directions on packages or found online may not be accurate. Knowing this, it would have been nice if T-fal included a more comprehensive cooking guide. I knocked off one star for this and the incorrect height measurement. Except for those 2 things I'm very happy with my first air fryer so far due to the features I listed above. I would definitely recommend the T-fal infrared air fryer.

The T-Fal air fryer has exceeded my expectations in many ways. This is not my first or second air fryer, but apparently third time is the charm. I only have one negative so I’ll start there, it doesn’t exactly have a preheat setting which is a bit confusing to me but it gets straight to it. The other air fryers I’ve used all had a preheat feature then a put the food in option. However, with that being said, this heats food up so fast and perfectly. There’s a light option that allows you to watch your food cook instead of having to open it to check which I absolutely loved. It’s fully touch screen which makes keeping clean so much easier. It’s SO quiet, like surprisingly quiet, that’s always a plus! The tray inside is not only easy to remove but it’s also dish washer safe, I love this feature the most because cleaning an air fryer is such a pain but that’s not the case here! It has an extra crispy option & extra crispy is what you get not burnt overcooked just extra crispy. It’s easy to use, fast, and efficient. It’s not huge, the tray is definitely on the smaller side which if it was bigger this thing would’ve been as good as it gets. But I’m not mad at the size at all, it works for my household.

This is for the newer T-fal Infrared 2.0 Air Fryer, 8-in-1, Extra Large 7L / 7.3Qt., Infra-Heat, if your an experienced air fryer user, you will have to make a little more adjustments to your cooking, the infrared heater element works a little different from a conventional elements, it also has a bottom heater element, do a search infrared heating elements. The basket is huge at 10" length. 9" wide and 5" height, the heating elements are 1800 watts, the absolute minimum on a air fryer for reasonable cooking is 1500 watts, 1700 watts and above is recommended, I recommend going larger air fryer than you need, its all about larger area for air circulation which will give you a faster more even cooking. When you receive this new air fryer, do the usual washing of the basket and then do the burn-in, meaning run the unit at full power to burn the factory chemical residue within the unit, I did the burn-in for 90 minutes, 3 bursts of 30 minutes, on the second round, put in a heat resistant cup or bowel containing vinegar, lemon juice and water, just vinegar is good if you don't have lemon juice, this will help remove the chemical smell, I recommend you do the burn-in procedure outside rather than indoor if possible, but if you need to do it indoor, have fryer sitting under stove exhaust fan or near an open window as a minimum. and make sure stove exhaust fan in running at full speed. even after 90 minutes, there was still a slight plastic smell, but not much. This fryer did a great job on frozen onion rings, they were crispy outside and moist inside, I did boneless skinless chicken beasts and they came out perfect, but remember if your using this fryer for the first time over other fryers you've used, you must keep an eye till you develop better knowledge of the fryer, the great thing is there is a window that you can see your things cooking, if your new to air frying and this is your first air fryer, your going to go through trial and error, just keep an eye and you will be ok. Washing the basket is pretty straight forward, dishwashing liquid and hot water, the insert at the bottom of the pan is held in by friction using silicone tabs on the corners, the insert wont fall out when turning basket over, Im not sure how well silicone tabs will hold insert over time.
