You need the Aroma Rice Cooker. Very simple and easy to use. Makes perfect rice using the ratio of equal parts water and rice. Aroma automatically shuts off when the rice is ready. The rice was perfect and ends your need to monitor cooking the rice on a stove top. A real time saver and rice is perfect. We made oatmeal which is delicious. We used a ratio of 2 parts water or milk to one part oatmeal. We added 1 teaspoon of vanilla and a handful of dried cranberry. Aroma cooked the oatmeal until it was ready and we added brown sugar and milk. The oatmeal was hot and bursting with taste of cranberry. Vanilla and brown sugar. Again, very easy with excellent oatmeal to start the day. Aroma is an inexpensive kitchen small appliance that adds real value and creates a gourmet quality rice or oatmeal. The pot cleans easily with warm water, soaking with no need to scrub. Highly recommend.

Perfect size, good rice capacity and a really nice color—this rice cooker looks great on the counter without taking up too much space. I especially love that it has a ceramic non-stick coating, which feels much healthier and easier to clean than traditional coatings. Super simple one-touch operation and consistently good results. A great little rice cooker overall.

I selected this cooker because it's PTFE free, and inexpressive. First one was dead on arrival. The switch wouldn't turn on the unit so back it went. The second has worked fine and produced nice rice. It does best in the middle of it's capacity. Larger batches tend to be a bit wetter and stickier. If you're cooking rice for more than 4 this might be undersized. This is a pretty low cost unit, so I don't expect bells and whistles and this one has none. Add rice, add water, click switch, get rice. Once it finishes cooking, the switch goes to warm. As long a that keeps happening, I'm happy. The included measuring cup has to be the hardest to read cup they could possibly make. It's also weirdly shaped, like they tried reinventing the measuring cup and failed. Basically a throwaway waste of plastic. Overall, the first one was a bummer, but sometimes that happens. Second seems fine.

Easy to use and cooked up a nice pot of rice. Unsure of durability because a piece of the lining flaked off and I bought it November of 2025! Can't return it. Maybe regular unlined pots are safer buys. I did reach out to Aroma to see if they sell the pot only, but there's been nothing, other than a auto response email that'd they'd get back to me in 5-7 days (it's been 5)--too busy? Still no response from seller/manufacturer. Very poor customer service. Got another cooker, hoping I just ran into a lemon.

I bought this to replace my old aroma rice cooker that was Teflon coated. This one works so much better, cleans easier, and I’m not as worried about toxic chemicals cooked into my rice. The design is sleek, instructions are simple, rice cooks quickly and effortlessly. Never going back!

I bought this rice cooker based upon a review. The lady said it was easier to clean than most rice cookers. I agree this is very easy to clean! The rice cooks fine but it is a tad dry. I normally add a little water for it to absorb as it is cooling off. This sure beats cooking it in a pot!

A bit disappointed that the rice cooker was not made to UK spec. It has the wrong plug type and wrong voltage. I thought when I ordered from the UK Amazon site, the appliance should be made for or suitable for the local spec.
