Not perfect
The bulb works well and definitely increases the output and efficiency of the light, however the lens cap does not seat all the way on the bezel which is annoying. I have sent 2 messages to Lumencraft customer service and have not received a reply. They have a video that shows some models have removable rings to aid with fit, however mine does not. **update** Their customer service pointed out that I still had a plastic lens protector in the light that it ships with to protect the lens inside the bezel! It’s been there 15 years and I never knew it. Easily removed it and the bulb fits perfect and the lens cap seats correctly. Great product that breathed new life into my trusted old workhorse.

Excellent upgrade
Easy five stars for this LED upgrade of my 30+ year-old rechargeable Mag. 60 second installation, and the beam is blinding--three times brighter than the day I bought the light. The beam width is no longer adjustable, but it is a worthwhile tradeoff to get this light back in working order.

Exactly what was needed.
This is a quality, well manufactured item that fit perfectly. With the online vid and instructions I had it installed in 3 minutes. Refurbing an old, new, unused rechargeable Maglite that I got for free, and this was the ticket. Its a little pricey, but it is a quality product upgrade and the light from it is soo much better than the original configuration.
