Great for EDC
So I have sung the praises in another review of the Miguron ; however, this is also my favorite knife, but for other reasons starting with the handle. I purchased the black micarta version, which I really like. I like micarta and theirs has a good balance of grippiness without feeling rough. The pocket clip is OK. Itโs not my favorite, but it works well enough. It clips well and does not slide around. It doesnโt grab fabric too badly. I can easily wear these in a pair of gym shorts and not have any problems. I like that the blade on this is 154 CM, which is a very good semi-high-end steel. I love the blade style of this. Itโs a very good utilitarian blade. I actually like using this at work, just the nature of what I do, having to cut products off of rollers. This works very well. The ergonomics on this knife are absolutely spectacular with the slightly up, raised handle. It allows your hand to just fit right up and choke up is a breeze. Thereโs plenty of jimping along the spine in several locations, which allows you to use several different grips without worrying about slipping off. Now, to be honest, I purchased this mostly because I have bulldogs. I like bulldogs. I purchased the Sheepdog. I really like that, but overall, I actually really do like this knife. Itโs a great utility knife, great for everyday tasks that most people are going to perform that may not be super steel, but itโll hold an edge long enough. Itโs not terribly bad to sharpen this. The crossbar lock or whatever Kizer call it is one of my favorites. The tension on this one is set perfectly at least for me. Deployment is very easy with the thumb studs, and it closes very smoothly. This is probably one of the best crossbar lock knives that Iโve purchased. Iโm thinking about purchasing another one just in case this model disappears. If they made one with S45, Magnacut cut or M3 90 as a higher-end version, I would definitely buy it. This is a fantastic everyday carry knife. Go get one.

Really good knife
I love this as a EDC .I have a pretty large collection of pocket knives and this is one of my favorites. Action is great . Very sharp out of the box . Very slicy but very solid .It feels like a bigger knife than it is as far as using it goes . I have nothing bad to say about this knife at all

Awesome knife
Love this knife. The micarta really looks like faded grey denim and the blade is super sharp. Also love the bar lock as well. Excellent build quality and usability

This may be your next EDC
I bought this knife a year and a half ago, so I felt it was time to give a review. Having used it almost every day for work and around the house, it has meet my expectations. I decided to replace my previous knife because it just would not hold an edge for very long. I literally had to sharpen it every other day. This knife can easily go a week before I feel the need to touch it up. As I said, it is used daily! I used to work in a warehouse and I cut a variety of materials multiple times a day, every day of the week, and then I often use it at home on the weekends. In my new job I don't use it as much, but I don't have to sharpen it as much either. Around the house, in my garage, and at times doing yard work, I call on this handy helper without reservations. I choose this particular knife due to its blade shape; because of the functions I was needing it for. The length and shape are perfect for utility use, and it has gimping in two places on the back side of the blade that can be very useful for chocking up on the tip, for close up work. The blade was very sharp right out of the box; it is easy to sharpen and the steel is durable enough to hold a good working edge for a long enough time to matter. It opens and closes smoothly. The thumb stud provides quick opening and the lock works very well. The way it smoothly swings back when unlocked, is something to be mindful of if you've never had one that operates this way. It could clip a finger if your not careful, but once your used to it you'll love the easy one handed closing capability. Keeping hold of one thing in one hand, while using the knife with the other hand is a breeze. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the handle material. I know a lot of people like the Micarta scales, but I prefer a more rubberized feel. The Micarta is debatably more durable, but it just feels a little slick to me. The scales on this one, started out feeling almost like a denim type material. Over a short period of time and use, that wore down or got compounded with dirt and oils, so it changed the feel and it's not as grippy. It's not horrible, and the design of the knife has enough contour to prevent slippage under normal use, but I think it would be much better with a Kraton or Thermorun type handle. It's a personal preference but that is the reason I only give this fine knife 4 stars. I really do love this knife for EDC, and I believe it was well worth money I spent.

Excellent!
First Kizer and I really like it. Blade is razor sharp and strong also zero play and centered! Nice design seems well built. Plenty of jimping on top for secure hold. Fits my hand nice with excellent ergonomics. Swings open with the flick of the wrist and falls closed easily. Like the crossbar lock as well. Also like the way it carries in my pocket and the deep clip keeps it there. It's a keeper!

EDC pocket knife
Great pocket knife. EDC friendly. Canโt go wrong with this brand. Love the blade profile. If you collect pocket knives, then you need this for your collection. If not, itโs a perfect one and done pocket knife.

High build quality and sharpness
I have owned a lot of knives, both expensive and cheap. High tier brand names to silly named off-brand knives. This knife is awesome. I honestly think for the quality, more money could be charged, but Iโm appreciative of the lower price. This knife is razor sharp out of the box. I lightly bumped my finger on the blade when I was careful closing it and it sliced right into me.
