Try if you like
I knew this product from a you tuber. We tried to cook spaghetti with it. We did not have to use a lot ,may be only two tea spoons with the double cream. It already gave a good taste on the spaghetti.

Subtle and slightly savoury
Perfect to go with calamar braisé au vin rouge

More guidance needed
This is a review of Alises Squid (Cuttlefish) Ink. This cuttlefish ink comes in a 90g jar. It says on the side that you should use 1g per 100g of liquid (water or stock). Based on our experience, I can only conclude that this is a misprint. 1g is a tiny amount did absolutely nothing to colour or flavour the pasta we made. In the end my wife went for the nuclear option and used almost the whole jar, as if it was a supermarket pasta sauce. That was a mistake, as the result was just about inedible (see picture). OK so we are novices at using this ingredient, but I do think more guidance needs to be given. Researching recipes on the internet, I found that many refer to squid ink sachets. These sachets are generally 4g, and recipes seem to call for up to one sachet per serving, or as much as 1 teaspoon of ‘loose ink’.

Calidad.
La mejor tinta de sepia que he comprado. 90 gramos son más que suficiente para una fideuá de marisco de hasta 50 comensales. Sobresaliente.
