If you want to give you ageing switch a new lease of life then this deck is for you like it was for me! I was sick of terrible joycons from all manufacturers so I decided to get an all in one piece and with the reiteration of this moving the buttons and the analog sticks to a parallel position it was a great idea! Yes it’s not perfect but this works no matter what it has remapping capabilities with the paddles at the back so nothing is going to be out of reach of that button press! Yes it’s pricey but it’s worth it especially for those long flights and travelling the reason I bought it as it’s also a dock and this will connect to any hotel TV or monitor with the adapter included which was also once sold separately. It’s an awesome piece of kit and I have no regrets and had no hassle to connect it to the app either! 9/10 can’t wait to add a 500gb sd card so I have access to all my games now I’ll never have to take the switch out of this ever again!

If, like me, your Switch joy cons have become tired, worn and full of drift, playing any game that requires swift movements and accuracy becomes impossible. It drains the fun out of gaming! Until I replaced the cons with a CRKD nitro +. The difference is night and day. The hall joysticks are super accurate, like steering with a Ferrari after stepping out of Skoda. Buttons are sharp, programmable, and responsive. Personally, I find their placement, just below the right joypad, is fine and works well (unlike some other reviwers.) The Switch snaps in tighly and stays fixed however you hold it. So whether you're playing a quick twitch fighting game like Mortal Kombat, a driving game or a demanding FPS, this will make a huge difference. Highly recommended!

I watched a lot of reviews on this product before I decided to buy it. I am not disappointed. It makes using my switch handheld so much easier as I am used to the analog sticks on a controller being at the same level. It has multiple buttons that can be programmed to whatever you want using an app. I had to try a few different configurations till I found what was most comfortable for me but it is so easy that it is not a problem. The stand on the back is much more sturdy than that if the switch itself. I went for the clear and white one and as purple is my favourite colour. I love the accents on the analog sticks. All in all great product with the accompanying app which makes it easy to have an external controller set up exactly how you want it.

A solid, well made quality controller for my Switch OLED. With hall effect analogue sticks to prevent stick drift and hall effect triggers to fine tune your preferred controller setup this controller is perfect for veteran gamers but also for average gamers. Want programmable back buttons and side kick buttons? Well this offers you that which you can program manually or via the free app once you scan the NFC chip in the back and add your controller to your collection. Don't want side kick buttons or back buttons? Simply deactivate them. The overall feel of the controller screams quality and while some people complain about the position of the analogue sticks on the right side of the controller I have no issues with it. Yes when I first started using the controller it felt different and somewhat weird but after a while of thrashing out some games I find it easy to use now. Maybe a little on the heavy side and if I was being picky I would of liked the part where you grip to be a bit slimmer but overall I'm more than happy with the device and how well it works. This is now my main controller in handheld mode. On the back you get a nice firm kick stand, and a input and output socket. Input uses your Switch charger to not only charge the controller but your switch console at the same time, and the output socket to attach the included adapter to output you switch to a TV ect without the need of taking your original switch dock everywhere with you. Currently priced at £79.99 some people may think it's a little expensive but you are getting a well made quality controller that you can customise so in my opinion worth the price tag and definitely recommended 👍

IMMEDIATE IMPRESSIONS OUT OF THE BOX Beautiful box, the item looks sensational. The unit has a degree more heft than the Switch with paddles, so if you have physical challenges, please be aware of this. Initial musings suggested the placement of the sticks would render the actual A/B/X/Y pointless, and for better or for worse you're using the paddles underneath. There is an impressively solid and sturdy kick stand. The Switch screen locks in - and is genuinely locked tight - until you move a notch to release it. The box comes with a dust cover for the item, as well as a HDMI connector. BAD INSTRUCTIONS Atrociously printed instructions, rendered absolutely pointless. Really, what is the point of printing in such an impossibly tiny font? There is a barcode to scan on the front of the instructions, another on the underside of the box lid, plus a further code on a small piece of card. I had a look on YouTube for the set-up and would recommend 'CRKD Nitro Deck Unboxing'. In short, you're going to settings, Controllers & Sensors, turn on pro controller wired settings an you're away. Then insert the Switch screen into the unit and everything is locked, synced and you're away. IT'S ON AND EVERYTHING TAKES A LEAP INTO 'WOW' TERRITORY Very very impressed it the hand, going way beyond those initial musings I had out of the box. It feels gorgeous, really didn't notice the weight now, I was left with a feeling of this being a product of great quality. Looked the part, felt brilliant in the hand, the Hall Effect sticks were superbly responsive. OVERALL A wonderful piece of kit, great to look at, smartly designed, feels immaculate in the hand. I just hope the people behind such a fabulous product take another look at their printed instructions.

Companion App required to configure buttons contains bugs and constantly crashes making you unable to reconfigure the extra buttons.

This is hands down the best aftermarket grip for the Switch that we've ever tried. We're really pleased with the build quality and the way it feels to hold in your hands. In terms of design and practicality, it's streets ahead of some of the cheaper equivalents that we have owned which are not comfortable to use even for short periods of time. It fits the Switch perfectly, neither feeling that it's too tight or that it's going to fall out. Setting it up as a wired pro controller via the Switch's menus was a breeze, and we were gaming within seconds. The extra buttons on it are a real plus and they all feel really positive, with just the right weight on triggers etc. I can't recommend this grip highly enough. Yes it's more expensive than the many cheaper alternatives out there but it really does make a difference and you get what you pay for.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 10/10! I'm disabled, basically in bed all day due to joint pain, and gaming gives me something to to do besides just watching tv, but due to the Switch OLED Joy Cons being small it caused a lot of pain in my hands, and after trying several different "ergonomic" cases that didn't help AT ALL (and I tried/returned multipled other cases), I decided to try this because it is VERY BULKY and it's AWESOME! I got this ONLY because of it's size, wasn't really looking for a "deck" or extra functions, but now I'M IN LOVE WITH IT, AND SOOO HAPPY I BOUGHT IT! Having the 4 buttons on the back has made gaming sooo much easier for me (the hand positionis way more comfortable)! The thumb stick controllers are much better than what's on the Joy Cons. I tried SEVERAL different silicone covers for the Joy Cons to raise the height, as well as keep my thumbs from slipping, but those would often slip around/rotate on the thumb sticks, and at times COMPLETELY COME OFF WHILE PLAYING, which would often mess me up, causing me to lose the game! Love that CRKD offers different stick tops that you can EASILY swap out, and that they have different textures. The ONLY complaint I have is that the Switch battery does drain faster since the CRKD Nitro Deck+ is ALSO using the battery, however you can charge both while playing, so I just constantly leave it plugged in, and where the port is on the upper backside, the cable is NOT in the way! 2 days after I bought this, the CRKD Nitro Deck 2 came out for pre-order...so I pre-ordered it! It has new features I really wannna try! The ONLY thing I see undesirable is that you CANNOT charge the Switch/Deck 2 while playing like this device, but since I already have this one, I can use this one while the other charges! If you're looking for more comfortable, better, and easier gameplay, you NEED THIS DEVICE! You can't beat having the extra buttons, thumb stick height/design/texture/ changeability, and ergonomic design for WAAAY more comfort, ESPECIALLY if you're into binging long gaming sessions, like I do (I'll play 6-12 hours a day!) especially for THIS PRICE!
