One White Willow Tree - Silver Leafs Shimmer in The Moon Light - One Cutting to Grow, Beautiful Outdoor Shade or Privacy Trees

I wanted to give it a couple weeks to see how it was working out before I left a review. I didn't have such great luck with my first cutting but that was my fault and my first lesson in NEVER USE MIRACLE GROW. This is going to be such a beautiful tree! The growth on it so far is just amazing! Just see for yourself in the photos I'm attaching. I started it in water just as they said two on the enclosed instructions. I may have cheated a little I used a rooting hormone after noticing just some bumps but no roots protruding yet. It definitely took off after that. I'm keeping it under a grow light on a seed heating mat. I ordered the Fox farm Ocean Forest soil and that's currently what it's in. The instructions say you cannot over water this and I have been taking advantage of that, lol. I probably just water it once a day, maybe twice if it's feeling on the dryer side because between the grow light and the heat mat it does go through moisture quicker. I also have it in a very small pot to prevent it from sitting in too much soggy soil until a good root system gets established. I also used Myco Supreme when I first planted it in the pot. The bonsai all-purpose soil that CZ Grain sells is also really good. With some of my other plans they seem very happy and it is a very well draining soil You don't have to worry about water logging or root rot. But to provide even better aeration I mix Bonsai Jack's Gritty Mix with the CZ Grain and that's what one of my other bonsai is in. Thanks CZ Grain!

Terrible! All the instructions were followed, yet each cutting died one by one. Roots and leaves sprout in the glass of water, but they die once planted in soil.

Shipping and delivery was a lot quicker then est. Cuttings got here with roots and leaf buds already starting so they was alive ( hopefully they stay that way) no exp with the customer service product as described will buy from them agian

I received two sticks and put them into a clear mason jar with the water from the tap. I didn’t do anything special, didn’t have any root hormone so I just waited. After a few days, they started to sprout roots, and the leaves started to grow pretty green. I can’t speak to the quality as one of them survived, and the other one didn’t. Out of nowhere the plant just got soft on the large stick and quit growing and turned brown. Never even made it out of the water so I don’t know what could’ve happened. The little one is still doing good.

Bought for anniversary gift. Is sprouting leaves. Hope I can keep it alive

I ordered this tree cutting back in 2025. I did exactly as the instructions said to do. I waited until the cutting had lots of roots before I planted it. I actually waited a little longer than the instructions said because the roots were so fine and undeveloped. I waited a very long time and again, followed all the instructions and the cutting never took off. After a year with no signs of life I threw it out. I bought some more cuttings this year and did not know it was the same company. I followed the instructions again, same scenario and these died a few days after putting them in dirt in a pot.

I only give it a 3 star only because out of three stems only one grew
