I used to get the yupik brand of cacao nibs and beans, but their price was too volatile. So when found these, the price grabbed my attention, in light of how unreasonable the other option was. The price has since changed, and the option I ordered a week or so ago, is no longer available... The nibs are good quality, but the volatility of availability and price, makes me think I need to keep searching for a more permanent supplier.

I like these. Marginally larger than another brand I bought, but I like their crisp crunch texture. Will buy again.

Organic, clean, fresh, raw cacao. Smells chocolatey and has a good taste. I like the zip lock package and the 2.2 LB size. I love to add a couple of scoops with coffee for my morning brew, and I also use it to make chocolate tea. I will purchase this again.

I was really hoping for a better product. I don't know if it was a bad batch that I got but the nibs I got were extremely bitter and basically were inedible and a little stale tasting. It was terrible . I used a little bit of it to add to a couple recipes hoping that bitterness would go away but it made it worse. I've bought another batch from another company that was wonderful. Very flavorful, and overall amazing. I would have ordered again but they were out of stock so I decided to give this company a try based on their advertising and the company info. It would be one star rating because it was so terrible but looking at the packaging, consistency of the product, and overall look would be definitely a 5 star rating but when it's inedible , its no good for anything. Going back to Amazon where I bought it, the company gives ZERO way to get a refund or exchange so you are basically screwed. Buyer beware!!!! I'd even give a way better rating if they allowed me to just exchange it because I know, not everything is perfect, sometimes you get a bad batch. If somehow Im allowed to exchange this, I will definitely update my review and give a better review.

He comprado estos nibs de cacao crudo ecológico de NaturaleBio y la experiencia ha sido muy satisfactoria desde el primer momento. El producto transmite calidad nada más abrir el paquete: los nibs están bien conservados, tienen un aspecto natural y un aroma intenso a cacao puro. El sabor es exactamente lo que esperaba: auténtico, ligeramente amargo y muy natural, sin ningún tipo de aditivo ni sabor artificial. Los utilizo principalmente para añadirlos a yogures, smoothies y desayunos, y aportan un toque crujiente y un sabor a cacao real que marca la diferencia frente a otros productos similares que he probado. Otro punto muy a favor es el precio. Teniendo en cuenta que se trata de 1 kg de cacao crudo ecológico, la relación calidad-precio es muy buena en comparación con otras marcas del mercado. Además, saber que es un producto bio, cultivado en regiones tropicales y con un perfil nutricional interesante (rico en minerales como magnesio, potasio y hierro) hace que merezca aún más la pena. En conjunto, es un producto de muy buena calidad, con un sabor natural, ideal para quienes buscan cacao puro sin procesar y a un precio razonable. Sin duda, repetiré la compra cuando se me acabe.

I've been using cacao nibs for over a year now and tried various companies, so have had plenty of time to find a favourite - and that's NaturaleBio. Some other brands (especially a certain "Amazon's choice" sponsored add brand) still have a vinegar like smell & taste, as they've not been cleaned enough after the fermentation stage, some folks like that - I don't, especially as I use cacao nibs in my daily breakfast, smoothies and drinks. I find that NaturaleBio also sift off the husks better than others, so I'm no longer picking out tough husks from between my teeth - husks feel extremely gritty, almost sand-like against tooth enamel, so you'd definitely know the difference between it and actual nibs and not having to deal with that uncomfortableness is brilliant. As an FYI, I'm housebound disabled with multiple chronic illnesses and allergies, so all my food and drink has to be made from scratch by my carers, so needs to be easy for them to prepare, healthy, nutritious, easy to digest and above all, enjoyable! I've certainly found that with NaturaleBio Cacao Nibs, I have all those needs met, the antioxidants help boost my impaired immune system, as well as help regulate my GI transit without triggering my IBS, have a very satisfying crunch and texture and the taste is the best of several brands I've purchased. When my current cacao powder runs out, I'll be restocking with NaturaleBio for both powder and nibs, as they're definitely the best cacao supplier by far! True to their ancient origins, it's easy to see how the Mayans thought of cacao as "food of the gods" and used cacao beans as currency! *Edit 20/08/2020* Okies, so over a year later and I'm still happily purchasing this brand's cacao nibs. They continue to be a great quality product, the taste, texture and density is utterly superb! I find they reeeaaalllyyy do help boost my energy levels and immune system, so I continue to eat them daily as part of my breakfast, as well as a snack when I need a bit more energy or focus, they make a great alternative to drinking more coffee or those awful energy drinks. Considering I eat approx 1 table spoons worth, at least once a day, a 1kg bag lasts me a little over 3 months. While this product continues to do me good and providing it stays affordable, I'll keep on buying it! However, I would utterly appreciate it if these cacao nibs could be added to the "Subscribe & Save" program, so that I could have automatic deliveries, meaning I'll never have to go without, whenever I forget to order more, lol! *Damn you brain fog!* #SpoonieIssues *Edit 20/10/2020* Woohoo! Me han gustado mucho estos nibs. Me han resultado algo más amargos que otros de otras marcas, pero también muy buenos. De todas las opciones de Amazon, es el que sale más económico y además siendo ecológico. Cuando se acaben los volveré a comprar.

Update: Ich wurde vom Verkäufer nett und höflich kontaktiert und um die Chargennummer gebeten. Daher gibt es jetzt 4 statt einen Stern! Aufgrund des guten Kontaktes werde ich auch nochmals einen Beutel bestellen, da der Kakao die Male zuvor sehr lecker war. —— Viel zu stark geröstet und schmeckt komplett verbrannt.

Prodotto molto buono, di ottima qualità. La granella dei chicci è molto grande quindi ho apprezzato anche il fatto che non sono aciduli come altri tipi di cacao provati in passato. Io li aggiungo ogni mattina allo yogurt con muesli e frutta. Non ho dato 5 stelle perché ho trovato, purtroppo, un guscio di fava in mezzo ai denti che rovina un po' l'esperienza e si rischi di rompere un dente....
