It is pretty thick and more syrupy than what I get in a restaurant, but it tastes very good. I’m happy to have a tamarind sauce option at home.

Too thin + bad package design.
Not as good as Maggi's tamarina. If you put it in the fridge it siezes, store out of the fridge it's watery and thin. Plastic Bottle construction leads to unwanted mess. Won't buy again.

Contains lots of sugar, preservatives
The ingredients on the posting say "tamarind" only, but this dip actually contains sugar (first ingredient), a preservative, and a few other ingredients. Beware if you are looking for something all natural or without sugar. The item is not returnable, but Amazon kindly refunded me for the purchase.
