Excellent fan control module. Works as it should.
The engine cooling fan on my Volvo XC70 wouldn't stop running even after I turned the car off. This is a fairly common problem with these cars. I believe the same part is also used on a good number of Ford cars. The Volvo dealer wanted $1100 to replace the entire electric engine cooling fan unit ($500 for the part and $600 of labor). OUCH :(Instead I spent $34 on this Amazon part and it took me about 20 minutes to replace the broken module. It works great and has me running down the road just like I should be.It's a fairly easy repair. I recommend watching a Youtube video. Really there's only one screw that holds the thing in place but you'll probably want to have an offset screwdriver or a short ratcheting screwdriver as there's limited access to the screw in a standard screwdriver isn't going to fit. Other than the single screw there's one electrical plug on the top and two electrical plugs on the bottom. Definitely worth trying before you pay tons of money for the dealer to fix it.

Works Great
Since I installed this Module I don't have any overheating problems, however the fan connector does not fit into the module because it has some keys, I had to break then and the lock on the fan connector, I just need to know the matting connector for this module to replace it, otherwise the connector can disconnect by itself, but there is no information on the connector part number.

Fits and works!
Works perfectly on my 2010 Volvo XC70! Solved the problem of my radiator fans continuing to spin after I shut off the car. (Note: you will get some error codes about the "radiator anti tamper device" if you use this.)

Inexpensive Fix for Nonstop Fans
For less than $40, we were able to fix something that would have cost at least $300 at the dealership. Simple, but not easy, as accessing the screw and wire connectors was more than tight. Still more than worth it. If the part lasts, this is a bargain. (And I'll report back if it doesn't!)
