Two of us installed the straps today in about 25 minutes, and it works great. Our door was professionally installed and the fiber door stops are quite thin; we did not have any problems with closing the door with slight increase in pressure. It is important to follow the instructions carefully. It helped to have two people to look at both sides of the hinges, adjust the straps, support the door, and keep referring back to the instructions. I would like to buy another pair if they become available.

Took me a long time to finally figure out that you are supposed to reinstall the screws "through" the doorstop material. Even the video did not mention that. I guess it is just assumed. The "S" hinge installation instructions also were incomplete. After wrestling with installation for over an hour, my door was no longer hung straight--didn't close properly. After removing the door stop--and throwing them away--the door now closes properly, but I am right back where I started.

Glad to find these as we have such strong winds on 5e coast of the Gulf of Mexico and our front doors rip out of our hands with the strong winds, and these door stops keep the addditional outside rubber capped metal door stops from popping a hole into the outside doors. We have EXTREMELY expensive Hurricane doors, and as holes have been made in them from the outside door stops, these babies are so far keeping more holes from occurring. Ordered 2 sets, and It took two of us to figure out and attach them as we had a different configuration of the hinges we have so the screw in area was different from all their examples, but we are two smart girls, so we “got them installed” without examples.

I little bulky. But over time has gotten little easier to close door.

Seemed like a good idea, however, like others have indicated, the thickness of the product pushed the hinges out just enough that the door would not properly close. i could force the door shut but it is not something I want to do with brand new doors. Needed the heavy duty model as this is an exterior outswing door.

These take a little time to install depending on how your door frame is set up. You don't need many tools but remember to take your time. I have this on 2 entry doors to my home and they work great. I was so tired of the ones that attach to the door pins failing (kept unscrewing itself) so I replaced them with these and am very happy. They seem a little pricey but I'd buy another if I found I needed it.

I was looking for a solution to our kitchen door hitting the cabinets. I'd tried several other hinge pin inserts but they were either too delicate or protruded out too much. These in-hinge flaps looked really intriguing to me. I had 20 minutes this morning and got them installed. The instructions are very clear, making installation a breeze. They work perfectly - zero issues. The only thing I'd recommend doing is installing longer screws on the door frame as they will add more pulling force on them when the door stop engages.
