Great Fun for Kids at a Budget Price
At just £9.99, this twin-pack offers excellent value for money. I bought the set for a pair of twins, and they had a fantastic time staging Nerf-style battles around the house. The blasters are surprisingly good quality for the price and feel sturdy enough to withstand plenty of enthusiastic play. Bigger than expected
This thing is big. Think nerf-shotgun. I guess I was expecting smaller because of the 8+ rating. 13 year old son loves it because it shoots far and fast and holds lots of rounds before needing to reload. Downside is that the rubber-tipped darts shoot so fast that you could hurt someone at close range if you hit them in the eye. (We practiced with red disposable cups and the darts would sometimes crack them). Definitely need face protection with this unit. And because of the sheer size and projectile speed, I would say this is more like 10+
