Could not believe this fix was so easy. Saved tons of $$$$$ !!!!!!!!!!
Sorry but this is a little long BUT I just was able to make this switch button replacement installed with NO PROBLEM. Day before yesterday, my wife came home driving her 2019 E450 Convertible. We have had no problems with this vehicle. She tells me she can't get her window up because the switch broke. She had the cover in her hand. I looked at it and could see the two bottom "ears" that the switch pivoted on were broken off. After some research on the internet, it seemed that the fix was to replace the entire switch assembly. I called the local Mercedes Dealer and they said that was the fix....total replacement....part cost was $250 to $300...plus install. Long story short, I went to Amazon and they had many Mercedes switches, but I couldn't find the 2019 E450. Talked with the parts department at Mercedes and they told me that particular model's switch was out of stock and was backordered by the manufacturer from their supplier. Did more research on Amazon and had a supply of these covers for the various switches. Talked with Mercedes again, and they said they did not supply switch covers, only switches. So, I ordered on yesterday evening...came in this morning at 9:00am. Was installed in a couple minutes. Could not have been more surprised or happy. Way to go Amazon!!!!!!!!!!!

Not worth the price
The product gets the job done, but its quality in relation to the price is disappointing. It feels cheap – the plastic is flimsy and lightweight. Even the logo on the switch is thin, and the illuminating light from the window logo is excessively bright, making it obvious that this was a cheap replacement. Overall, it does the job, but not at that price.

Perfect replacement button
The driver side front window button decide to pop out a few weeks ago so I purchased this replacement. It came with a small screwdriver and hardware which I didn’t even need. The new button popped right in place , easily and works great! The new button matches the others perfectly, fits great, looks original and is a great value for the money. The dealership probably would have hurt my wallet.
