The media could not be loaded. I bought the 7.1” and it works better than I expected. Low smoke (not entirely smoke free), and gives off a lot of heat. It goes through wood quickly, so be prepared to keep it fed. I tried both pellets and some aged firewood. I found the wood worked best. I cut it into thirds, then split it down with a hatchet. The best part is it lights quickly and burns out quickly, so we can light it on a weekday and it still has enough time to cool down and put away before bed. One minor complaint is it doesn’t come with directions, but videos online are enough to figure it out pretty quickly.

I had my doubts on the smokeless firepits especially those like this one at an affordable price. Works great starts out with smoke but quickly goes away/very little. If you like to watch the logs burn you have to be right over the fire and looks down on it. Not ideal as I like to watch the logs burn but still enjoyable to watch the flames. It comes with a cover / carry bag which I was happy about, however it's a mesh and doesn't look at all like the one in the pictures. Certainly doesn't protect it from rain/weather. Water goes right in so plan on buying an actual cover if you leave it outside.Also know that smokeless depends on the wood you are burning. First fire I burned was most oak and the smoke stopped pretty quickly after lightning it. 2nd fire was all pine and it never stopped smoking. Can't stop pine smoke I guess.

We love a good fire pit but due to husband’s lung disease we haven't been able to do that because of the smoke. We can take this camping or just use in the back yard. Perfect.

We used this at our beach house which is windy. As advertised, initially there was smoke but that died does. Purchased a stand for it. The unit burn wood hot and keeps you warm. Cleanup and put away very easy.

Decided after a couple burns I would do a review. This is a 20 inch version. One big disappointment is I never did see a secondary burn. The holes on the upper inside never showed a secondary burn regardless of size and quantity of wood. Wood was oak and over a year dry. I have a small table top version that has secondary burn regularly. I wonder if it has to to with size? It goes through the wood quickly, but I think all these type of stoves do that. That being said, once the fire gets going there is little smoke. It puts off a lot of heat. If you are camping, bring lots of wood or be satisfied with a smaller fire. Color changes are expected. One spot on the ash tray was so copper like, I wonder if this is truly stainless steel. It is not magnetic. I tried a magnet on it to be sure. Not sure how to tell if it is stainless other than that. If I had a secondary burn, I would have done done 4 stars. Assembling was a little bit of a fumble, but that may be me. Once assembled, it was fine. Ash tray is a bit tough to remove, but I used a metal hook to pull out the tray to where I could lift it easily. No real problem there. I made a handle out of the wire hook and it works like it came with it. I don't know if a Solo stove would be better, but at this price it suits my needs. Good bargain and after the fire is started you forget it isn't a Solo stove.
