I am currently in difficult circumstances which is why I was looking for a prayer book. I wanted one that's actually comforting and understanding (which isn't always easy to find). Also, I was looking for one that was not particularily for people who had recently lost a loved one - which was even harder to find. Then I found this prayer book. I ordered it from the US (I live in Germany) and I am so glad I did! It's been very helpful and has provided comfort and a sense of hope. The two pages opposite each other always go together: There's a short message on the left page and a prayer on the right. The prayers are generalized enough so they will speak to a lot of people in different circumstances, but personal enough to make them your own when you're at a loss for words. I know that I will take this prayer book wherever I go from now on (e.g. when travelling or moving etc.). It's a gem among prayer books, and I have never seen one like this in German. I'm very grateful to have found it! Thank you.

I recie ed this as a gift after my Wonderful Husband passed, and now I've bought several for my family. It really touches your heart and helps your pain for a minute .

Perfect for a time of great sadness. Lifts you and nice size for a bedside table. Very comforting.

After my sister died I became deeply depressed with severe anxiety. I could only sleep a couple hours a night and would wake up in a panic. Panic attacks became an everyday thing. This book is incredible. I can't say enough good things about it. It was the only book I bought that helped me (and I bought a lot) . The words are so soothing. This book became the only thing besides the Bible that gave me hope. Please buy it. You'll be so grateful you did. And it's beautiful and well made. I'm good now but often pick up this cook to read a page. I love it.
