These calculators are excellent. my wife and I are engineering students and decided to try them. they are excellent for classes and exams, with so many functions, like vectors, equations, inequations... so we totally recommend them. They are very easy to learn how to use. and they offer great value for the price.

Great calculator. I teach math and this is one of two non-graphing calculators I recommend. Intuitive controls and packed with a crazy amount of features that my students don't need. The build quality is fine but the buttons don't feel quite as nice as the TI competition - but I have never seen one of these fail. So it's more perception than reality. Also, I have an affinity for Casios as they were the brand of calculator wristwatch young nerdy me used to wear!

I bouught this for College Chemistry for Health Professions as a back-up to the first one (same exact one) I just bought within the past week. I LOVE this so much! It has so many functions and is so lightweight. Someone said the weight makes it feel cheap, but it is definitely NOT a cheap type of calculator. You would also think that it's "cheap", due to the low price, but this is the best scientific calculator I've ever had (and I've bought those TI ones in the past that were almost $100).

This Casio calculator has been a really useful addition to my study setup. The high-resolution display makes fractions and equations much easier to read compared to older, more basic calculators I’ve used, and seeing expressions laid out almost exactly like they appear in textbooks is genuinely helpful when working through homework. It’s packed with functions — definitely more than I use on a daily basis, but that’s a plus when I need something more advanced, like solving equations or handling statistics. It’s helped me get through some tricky calculus problems without much trouble, and the natural textbook display really does make things faster and easier to follow. On the downside, finding certain functions can take a bit of time since many of them are tucked away in menus, so it’s not quite as immediately intuitive as calculators with more dedicated buttons. There’s a small learning curve if you haven’t used a similar Casio model before, but it’s manageable once you get used to it.

This Casio fx-991CW is packed with features and handles complex calculations with ease. A semester in the calculator works well, buttons are tactile and responsive. The main quality of life improvements u notice is the surd function and fractional answers, the fact u can modify the display to suit ur eyes, accuracy is a plus and its durability. The calculator interface is refreshing, readability is eased . Its great value given the graphing function although accessed through ur phone on a website with the QR. The school use is exceptional, and relevant to my Pre Engineering classes and would be using it for my further degree. However in exam time they did call my casio calculator a semi-programmable, had to pull out my sharp and dust off the codes and functions I memorized. The examiners allowed the older model casio class Wiz which is more button oriented than this one which is screen oriented. 🤔 given a university scenario I did have my doubts on that exam certified. If anything I'll invest in the older model casio class wiz. As well
