Can the google nest wifi pro be configured so that the different wifi bands (e.g. 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz) have different ssids?

No, you can't. Google Nest Wifi Pro uses the same name or SSID for both the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz band networks. It comes with a Band Steering feature that will automatically guide your connected devices, and it will attempt to select the band that will deliver the best performance for your device.

Nest Wifi Pro has 2 Ethernet ports that support 1 GBPS wired speeds per router. It works with most modems and internet service providers (ISP). You can connect the Nest Wifi Pro directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable to set it up and broadcast your Wi-Fi network. The 3 pack includes 3 Nest Wifi Pro routers. All Nest Wifi Pro has routing capability, you can choose to set up any unit as your primary router and connect it to your modem via Ethernet. Then, add the other Wifi points as your child point wirelessly to create a whole Wi-Fi mesh setup.
