Works and works well ....
Working great on a Dynaco ST-70 tube amp . ~ I really like Sovtek tubes for my vintage tube equipment , which I use on multiple tube equipment pieces and never a problem , and last a good long while . Recommend .

Pulled the fender Chinese made tube and replaced it with this Sovtek 5AR4 rectifier tube and wow! My Bassman has never sounded better!

Solid performance, no worries
I have not had a lot of playing time through this tube since my Bluesbreaker is getting a turret board installed to replace the PCB. While I had it, the tube performed well, the sound was as expected but nothing spectacular in the way of changing the tone for the better (or worse). A "Good, solid rectifier tube that comes highly recommended" is what I was looking for, and that is what I got.

Better than a JJ branded 5AR4.
A typical Russian tube.Not a great value but it will do.The only other choice is a JJ and I think it’s better than those.New old stock is too cost prohibitive.

Received this well packaged! Seller put an extra packing peanut in the tube box itself so it would not move and then packed that box into a box of peanuts. Swapped out in my AC30 that was blowing main fuses and works perfect!
