Gun Safe, Biometric Drop Down Bedside Gun Safe Quick Access Handgun Safe Mount Pistol Safe for Desk, Car, Nightstand

I have this mounted under my desk with the mount going through the left side. It took about 15 minutes to mount. Very sturdy. I like the quick release biometric with the backup combination, plus I have it powered by a USB cable with battery backup. If all else fails, I have the manual key stashed inside my desk drawer. Granted, I would need about 30 seconds to retrieve the manual key, find the slot on the back of the safe, insert the key and open it, but that’s the 3rd option to open it. The thumbprint/fingerprint reader works instantaneously, and the combination takes about 5 seconds to enter and open. I have it mounted at an angle so the door pops right open and the pistol is right there for me. The foam holder for the pistol works perfectly for my Glock. I am comfortable enough with this gun safe to keep the gun loaded with one in the chamber and a full magazine. It looks and feels way more expensive than it is. Plus, it blends in with the computer CPU and other electronics I have under my desk - very few people recognize it as a gun safe. They think it is an external hard drive or battery backup for my CPU.

Was in the market for a Gun Safe that I could secure and lock in my truck (the vehicle did not come with a locking glove or console box!). This Gun safe fits the bill. Fast delivery and very well packaged. Sturdy construction with substantial strength and weight -- this is a very solid Safe and can be anchored securely and essentially out-of-sight. I installed in my truck passenger compartment -- and it does not get in the passenger's way. Comes with all you need to program, install and access (easy Instructions, keys, batteries, mini-screwdriver, mounting plate and hardware all provided). The Gun Safe is very easy to program for 6-number and fingerprint unlock (key unlock as well). The lighted combo and fingerprint unlock are reliable and true. Four-battery access in back for convenient replacement (many safes locate the battery compartment in the safe). Safe holds firearm snugly and securely, and provides quick release access with background lighting in the compartment. Even room for a mag or two. Nice Safe with reliable operation at an affordable price to provide you piece of mind that you can secure your firearm from friendly curiosity as well as access quickly when you need it. Five stars.

I’m not in an area where strangers might access my weapon. My need is to prevent access by visiting curious grandchildren. I am delighted with this well made gun safe. It's the perfect size for my pistol, and there's still room left for other valuables. I’ve tried biometric safes that unlock with fingerprints, but unfortunately at age 81 my fingerprints are not distinct enough to register on most biometric devices. This safe offers a pin code option which is just as fast, and works every time. It operates on included alkaline batteries, and there’s a USB-C option and two keys if the batteries should fail. But that should not be a problem as there is a LED display that shows battery level and the internal temperature and humidity. Mounting the safe on a table next to my bedside was easy and straightforward, Access is easy and smooth. The only potential problem you need to consider is making sure that you consider access to the manual lock when you mount it. All in all, this well built safe fulfills all my requirements, and was a good value for the price I paid.

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to keep your gun away from kids this will work. This safe mounted easily to my desk and the instructions are very good. It holds my .45 1911 perfectly. The Blue light inside looks really cool. I appreciate the thermometer and the humidity gauge, very nice. This safe is made to keep the honest people out. If someone broke in when no one was home it would only take them a minute to rip it off the desk. The mounting screws are small. That being said if I wanted to get my own bolts I could drill through the desk and mount it that way... But... Then there is the small gap at the top of the door that I am sure with a small pry bar you could pop this open. And lastly the one small screw you finger tighten to the mount. All of that being said for the price this safe will work for me. I don't go away for long periods of time I don't have a lot of people in the house. It will keep the grand kids out and I don't have to worry about leaving it in the family room when I go to bed where I have my nightstand pistol. Easy to program a 6 digit code and eventually I got several fingerprints stored.

I got this for my son in law. He says that it works great. Keeps his gun safe and away from kids but easily accessible for you if you need to get at it.
