Aurzen EAZZE D1 Smart Portable Outdoor Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth

I don’t have to get up to adjust the screen/focus the projector because when the unit is turned on it does all the adjustments automatically at that time, but you could still make you own adjustments afterwards. The unit is very light weight and it’s not a big bulky projector. It’s easy to set up and can turn on at the same time you turn on your fire stick. I use a Bluetooth speaker set up with my projector because I like more of a base sound while watching movies although it does have a speaker setup built in. I have not got any lag while watching movies or sports, the unit also has apps the you can program which you can connect via WiFi. It’s a smart projector with plenty of options that I have not explored yet like the connection for the phone to screen by Bluetooth. The was a purchase that was well worth it without breaking the bank.

*READ IF YOURE HAVING ISSUES WITH WIFI OR REMOTE* Aurzen has amazing customer service so dont hesitate to reach out to them with any issues or questions. I had mine answered through email between 9pm PST - 2AM PST. 1) I had wifi connection issues from the start. It wouldnt pick up my Hotspot or home internet. I contacted aurzen support and they sent me a file that I can plug in to the usb. It updated the projector in a few minutes and my internet worked. 2) The remote is weak. I had new batteries, even tested them on other remotes but the signal is bad. It only worked on the right side of the projector. When I let them know about this issue, they quickly offered tips AND told me they will send a new remote if none of these tips work. I truly appreciate the customer service. Now on to the projector itself. I did return mine but not because its bad. The picture quality is nice for the price. I ended up exchanging for the one with RokuTV. The basic Linux model is the one im reviewing which will have Disney+ under "Myapps"...Netflix, YouTube are readily available. If you need more apps I suggest getting the roku version or using your roku tv/firestick if you have one. The projector sound is pretty impressive too. I still opted to use a bluetooth speaker though. I love the autofocus. I could have my projector in an angle and it still projects nicely. I could go on about this projector. I will update how my other aurzen projector does in a few months. I know certain projectors end up burning out. **4 month update on my projector** still great and no burned out spots!

Superior Features *Sound quality (through the headphone jack) is excellent. The bass is absolutely awesome, tops my old projector by a mile. The built-in speaker isn't going to give much bass though. *Auto focus and auto keystone adjustment. I was unsure about the auto focus at first, as I like to manually tweak focus, get it as good as it gets and then leave it there. However, I've come to like it. After an auto focus I can walk right up to the wall and I can see each individual pixel. So that feature works consistently well. *Image quality is fine. I don't need or want 4k, I have 1080p eyesight. *The fan is really quiet. *Built-in Netflix app is a nice plus, but I miss the voice interface on the old Fire Stick, so I might put that back into service anyway. About the Brightness This seems about half as bright as my old projector. It is still adequately bright in a dark room with a screen width of 9 feet (not diagonally). Odd thing I have noticed however, is that on really bright scenes it is about the same brightness as the old projector, it is just that the average scenes are not as bright. I suspect that this projector is trying to do High Dynamic Range (HDR), but it hasn't the brightness headroom so it just makes everything else dimmer. There is a brightness adjustment setting and I've turned that up to the max, though that makes the blacks somewhat less black. Don't get too hung up on brightness. All projectors, even film types, need a darkened room to do well. My old projector was brighter, but after a while the center of the image developed a purplish haze from the high heat produced by that much light. This projector doesn't show any signs of developing "burn in". And brighter projectors need louder fans to keep them cool. So there are tradeoffs. YMMV.

Amazing projector for the price. Got this on sale and wish I bought more. It’s a very simple set up. You can add a fire TV stick to increase your range of use or cast from your phone. Don’t worry iphone users it works for you as well once you download the required app (which is free) google it. The projector quality is amazing and the speakers are loud if being used in a private setting. Screen size is huge and it comes with auto keystone feature. Can literally place it anywhere and it will correct itself. Auto focus feature as well or just do it urself. Works great on clear surfaces no sheet was required.

This is one of the best projectors you can buy for the price. The auto functions alone are worth the money, but the clarity of the picture is excellent, and the customer service from this company is like no other. I had a small issue with my original projector and after only a couple of emails, showing them the issue, they sent me a replacement at no cost. They’ve continued to follow up to make sure I received it and that it is working properly, stating that if there are any issues again to let them know.

I just received the Aurzen EAZZE D1, and I am completely blown away! This projector is a game-changer for movie nights, both indoors and out. The setup was incredibly easy, thanks to the auto-focus and auto-keystone features. I literally turned it on, pointed it at the wall, and within seconds, the picture was perfectly clear and squared. There's no fiddling with manual adjustments, which makes it perfect for moving from room to room or setting up quickly outside. The picture quality is stunning. The native 1080P resolution delivers a sharp and vibrant image that looks fantastic, even on a large screen. The built-in Dolby Audio is surprisingly robust for a mini projector. While you can definitely connect an external speaker via Bluetooth for a bigger sound, the integrated audio is more than sufficient for casual viewing. One of the best features is the official Netflix license. It's so convenient to have it built right in, along with WiFi, so I can start streaming without needing to connect any other devices. The portable size is a huge plus, making it easy to carry for camping trips or backyard gatherings. Overall, this is an incredible value for the price. I was on the fence, but I am glad I purchased it! I can move it from the living room area to the bedroom and it has worked just fine. (Cheaper than buying a tv). I only mostly watch YouTube, Netflix and Prime, so this works for me. My dog ended up chewing the remote so it wasn’t working, I reached out to customer service to see what my options were for a replacement and I was able to purchase another remote for $20 on their website since it was user’s fault not the company of course, and I was completely fine with that. Customer service responded quickly. Overall I am happy with my purchase!

Ich habe einen günstigen kleinen Beamer gesucht und habe mich schlussendlich für den "Aurzen EAZZE D1" entschieden, da er in meinen Augen ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat. Nach gewohnt kurzer Lieferzeit seitens Amazon konnte ich auch schnell loslegen. Der Beamer ist schön klein und handlich. Mitgeliefert wurden die Beschreibung, ein extra Blatt für den Quickstart, ein Netzteil, ein HDMI-Kabel, eine Fernbedienung sowie ein paar Wattestäbchen, um die Linse gegebenenfalls reinigen zu können. Leider fehlten allerdings zwei AAA Batterien. Das kann soweit ärgerlich sein, wenn man keine eigenen Batterien zu Hause liegen hat. Die Steuerung des Beamers über die integrierten Tasten ist zwar möglich, aber sicherlich nicht besonders schön, wenn man beispielsweise auch das WLAN-Passwort und andere eingeben möchte. Nach dem Einschalten des Beamers fällt auf, dass dieser versucht, sich selbst fokussieren, was eine schöne Option ist. Allerdings ist dies auch die einzige Möglichkeit, man kann selbst nicht nachregeln. Der Beamer muss mindestens 1,6 Meter von der Wand entfernt sein, um ein scharfes Bild zu erhalten. Dann ist das Bild 77 Zentimeter breit und 48 Zentimeter hoch. Das Bild wirkt dabei sehr scharf, kann aber, wenn er nicht sauber ausgerichtet ist, auch leicht an den Seiten verwaschen sein. Der Beamer ist zumindest bei einem kurzen Betrieb verhältnismäßig leise. Ein Summen ist zu vernehmen aber wenn beispielsweise Filme ablaufen, deren Ton auch über den integrierten Lautsprecher ausgegeben werden, fällt dies jedoch nicht weiter ins Gewicht. Bei längeren Testvideos habe ich allerdings die Lautstärke noch nicht prüfen können. Wenn soweit alles funktioniert, beginnt man mit der Installation des Beamers. Die ist soweit recht einfach gehalten, allerdings ist die Auswahl der Region nicht richtig nach Alphabet geordnet und man muss teilweise relativ lange suchen, um beispielsweise Deutschland oder andere Länder zu finden. Nachdem alles eingerichtet ist, fragt er auch direkt nach den Netflix-Account-Daten, da ich keinen Netflix-Account besitze, konnte ich dieses Feature nicht testen. Ist alles abgeschlossen, springt man direkt auf die Benutzeroberfläche. Hier gibt es verschiedene Optionen, wie einen Shop und weitere installierte Apps. Ich bin gleich in die YouTube-App. Ein Aktivieren des eigenen Accounts ist möglich, indem man einen QR-Code mit dem Telefon abscannt und sich somit schnell einloggt. Das ging sehr einfach, wie man es bei einem regulären Fernseher auch gewohnt ist. Für den ersten Test habe ich ein 4K-OLED-Video gestartet, welches durch die YouTube-App natürlich automatisch auf 1080p und 60 Frames heruntergeregelt wurde. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass das Bild ausgesprochen hell, detailliert und farbenfroh war. Ich bin von der Bildwiedergabe ausgesprochen positiv überrascht, für diesen Preis. Zu guter Letzt habe ich noch meine 2-TB-SSD-Festplatte angeschlossen. Diese läuft auf dem NTFS-Format. Sie wurde sofort erkannt, alles kein Problem. Darauf enthaltene Mediendateien waren mit dem X265-Codec codiert. Diese wurden leider nicht erkannt und somit nicht abgespielt, was sehr schade ist, da dieser Codec eigentlich mittlerweile Standard ist. Eine Datei, die das X264-Format hatte, konnte abgespielt werden, allerdings wurde hier das Audioformat nicht unterstützt. Wenn man also diverse Filme wiedergeben möchte, braucht man ein externes Wiedergabegerät, wie beispielsweise den Fire TV Stick oder einen Laptop, um dies zu ermöglichen.

A bit noisier than I would have expected, but works very well and good quality for the price!
