The harder you climb, the higher you live. Buntaro Mori is a loner, but being alone in a crowd is almost as bad as being forced to fit in. When a dangerous bid for solitude introduces Mori to the rush of solo climbing, he becomes addicted to the brilliant sense of freedom he finds as he pits his body and soul against the heights. But how high does he have to climb to leave humanity behind? Transfer student Buntaro Mori starts his first day at his new school already on the administration’s radar. He’s withdrawn and sullen, and the teachers are just waiting for him to explode. When his annoying classmate Miyamoto promises to leave him alone forever if he climbs to the top of the school, Mori eagerly takes up the challenge and shocks everyone when he makes it all the way to the roof. Flushed with the victory of his first successful climb, Mori can’t resist the lure of the local peak, despite warnings from more experienced climbers about the risks of climbing alone. But Mori doesn’t care. A little danger is nothing in the face of his new obsession. Review: An awesome title - Having heard good things about the manga, I read parts of it online. Was in enamored by how dynamic the art is but also how simple and charming it can be. The premise about a loner trying to leave the world behind also struck a chord with me. The climbing scenarios are intense, and it woke something up in me even though I never climbed a day in my life. The supporting characters serve as excellent foundation to hold the story up and keep the MC from being to alienating. The book itself is not as sturdy as I thought it would be, but it is well-crafted and beautiful to add to shelf. Review: Read it! - Easily the best manga I’ve read in about a decade.

Long-awaited English physical release
Thank you for publishing this. I’ve been waiting a long time for a physical English release of The Climber, and I’m really glad to finally add it to my collection. The book itself looks great on the shelf, and it’s fantastic to have this series available in physical form rather than only digitally or in other languages. A must-have for fans who’ve been hoping for an English release.

A masterpiece!
One of the best artworks, This was my first manga and I've got to say that the manga is definitely worth buying, the experience it provides doesn't match to that of reading it digitally, overall, definitely worth buying!
