I installed this on an M.2 SSD in my personal Ps5 pro because I noticed the drive was getting pretty warm during gaming and large file transfers. Installation was simple and everything lined up correctly. After a few weeks of use, the SSD seems to run cooler and more consistently. Gives your m.2 drive more air flow which helps keep it cool, built very well and easy to install. If you're doing a hard drive upgrade this is a must to replace the original cover that provides no ventilation at all.

It does what it's supposed to, doesn't fit as well as original slot cover due to it being a little tighter, it's noticeably bent and sticking out, until it's screwed down tightly, after that it still doesn't just sit as flush as the original cover, and the material isn't necessarily made of high quality, dense metal like the original; it's lighter and more fragile. The chrome color looks great, and contrasts the inner case really well, and gives it a look as if it's almost meant to be there as opposed to the stock cover. I'm assuming the material is aluminum, but I know it's more delicate and more easily susceptible to damage compared to the stock cover, which I feel makes the price seem a little high, even with the included accessories. Although the installation didn't feel as smooth as I'd hoped, in terms of design, this is how it should have been from stock, because the original cover blocks airflow, which makes this part a nice quality of life replacement. If it doesn't work as intended, I will come back with an update on its functionality.

When I opened up my PS five I expected there to be an m.2 SSD for me to cool down and there wasn’t to my surprise I bought an M2 SSD and put it in with the new Face

Great quality product! It came with a nice silk cleaning cloth and a good quality screw driver. It also fit nicely into the space of the M.2 plate cover as if it belonged there. (My console is the PS5 CD version, not the slim or pro) As long as it helps my M.2 and my system not over heat, I'm happy. And so far it's doing the job nicely.

Arrived on schedule. Was adequately packed considering it arrived from outside India. Product is as advertised and came with + screw driver as well. No defects were observed. Has a couple of mm more head room than the stock cover. My ssd with heat sink no longer touches this new cover. I believe the price could have been a little cheaper ~ ₹1500 mark. Fingers crossed, hopefully this helps with heat management for the ssd in the long run.
