Dixon Low D Tuneable Whistle

After some youtube lessons I started to grasp, the fingering technigue, different than a high D whistle. Sounds good, warm, enough much breathy and above all accurate(!) I'm pleased. Worth for money. I dropped one star, because, there's too many wrong notes when I play ;)

Well it like this ... I play the flute and fancied a low D whistleIf you think you can just pick it up a go with no problems ..... thats not trueIt sounds warm and rich and the tone is even and easily tuned for band work which is my purposeNot an instrument for those with small hands as my wife and daughter cannot cover the holes at allOh yes and learing a new way to play anything is indeed driving them nuts at home..... but I love it

Over priced it is only a plastic pipe and does not play that well

Apologies for delay in reply...I thought I had posted one already..This whistle turned up in a huge box app.28 ins long, 20 ins wide and 6 ins deep. That would have been ok if whistle was safely placed in the middle of the brown paper packaging used to pack the box out ... it was placed (in it's case) on top of the packaging with just the sealed cardboard box lid for protection, fortunately it survived the journey..I'm have no experience in Low whistles so I can't compare it to others, all I can say is, it suits me fine as my first Low D. Thankyou.

Bought this as a present for my wife, she's very happy with it. The fact that it's tuneable means she can adjust it when atmospheric conditions change (i.e. temperature). Great for a travelling musician.

Just what I needed for my new band. Great quality and great tone. Easy to tune. Everyone impressed with it.
