Then right mouse button then go to the add a Bluetooth device then left click on Bluetooth or other device then add a device then select Bluetooth making sure you have got Bluetooth turned on the device you want to connect with the item should be listed then select the name of the device you want to connect with and click connect you should see numbers on both screens now ready for file transfer.

If installed Home assistant on a raspberry pi in a metal case heatsink to help with the thermals. This blocked the internal Bluetooth, so I needed an external adapter. This device works as expected, good compatibility and was recognised instantly - very simple to use . Works with home assistant on a raspberry pi 3b

When you use it especially for YouTube it’ll take half a second for the audio to catch up on whatever headphones are connected which is abit annoying but works really well

I have a fairly new supposedly powerful PC running Windows 11. The internal Bluetooth has been pretty useless since day one and the wireless internet really subpar. Choppy, ineffective, very temperamental. To cure the internet problems I had to buy a signal booster. Eighty quid! Regarding Bluetooth, for seven quid I thought "What have you got to lose?" Apart from seven quid, that is. Disabled the internal Bluetooth as instructed. Plugged the dongle into the USB port. Done. My Sony wireless headphones, keyboard, mouse, etc, all connected seamlessly and all seem to function smoothly without glitches. Fingers crossed, it works. Can't ask for much more than that.

Purchased this after seeing a friend having 0 issues with their Bluetooth adapter. I had a strange branded one before that was giving me odd issues with connectivity sometimes cutting for a couple of seconds at random points, also when moving my head with Bluetooth headphones. So purchased this and realised what a good Bluetooth adapter is like. Very reliable, just make sure you uninstall Bluetooth drivers before plugging this in for best ease of installation.

I wanted bluetooth 5.3 just because I'm a geek and wanted to have something close to the current bluetooth standard supported. This dongle is detected, configured and registered as a bluetooth 5.3 device. It works great with my A2DP, AVRCP, HFP -- that is, when using headphones and headsets, has no issues. However, my keyboard (HID profile) was a different story. Frequent disconnects so much so that the keyboard is unusable over bluetooth. If I didn't also my onboard bluetooth 4.0 to compare, I would have thought I had a faulty keyboard. Maybe it's a problem with the keyboard still, but only specific to this bluetooth implementation on this dongle, but hey, this device has forced me to go back to using my keyboard in wired mode. I'm unfortunately back on the hunt for another Bluetooth 5.3 device.

Very happy with my purchase and also how fast it was delivered, it does what its supposed to do and also was value for money as well, easy to install, good signal as well plus very compatable.

Doesn't work in Linux? Working fine for me in the latest version of mint. Plugged it in, powered up and there it was. Only need KB/mouse and they work. Can't vouch for anything else, but worth a try...

I originally bought the UGREEN Bluetooth 5.3 USB Adapter with the intention of using it for my PS5 to connect AirPods. That use case didn’t end up working as expected, so it didn’t fully meet that specific need. That said, the adapter itself seems well made and easy to use. It’s compact, plugs in without any hassle, and feels like a solid little device. I haven’t run into issues with build quality or setup on compatible devices. Even though it didn’t work for my intended setup, I can see it being useful in other situations where Bluetooth connectivity is needed. It’s one of those small tech accessories that may come in handy later on for a different use case. Overall, it didn’t work for what I bought it for, but it still seems like a decent and reliable adapter for general Bluetooth use.

there is a well known issue of cracking audio on Windows 11 laptop to Bluetooth headphones, my Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless Headphones worked perfectly with my Android phone but when connected to laptop via Bluetooth I got very loud cracking interruptions to both mp3 running locally & streaming YouTube videos every few minutes. Connected this dongle and have not had any audio issues whatsoever since !

Very straightforward and does what it’s supposed to! All I did was plug it into my computer that doesn’t have a bluetooth chip in it- and within seconds, my computer was picking up bluetooth devices around me, my bluetooth device (a controller) connected seamlessly and works perfectly!
