The best knife sharpener ever, I have already dispatched 3 knife steels to the bin. My wife has had a set of knives purchased 50 years ago for catering college, and we could never get them sharp. With this unit in less that 10 minutes I sharpened at least 10 knives to perfection one of the those a pairing knife and it sliced through a full salmon like butter. They are as good as a brand new set of Stanley knife blades or a set of razors. The best £18 I have ever spent.

Well a kitchen gadget that actually does what it says it will do, surprising but true. For decades I have been manually sharpening all our knives, finally it is becoming way too much hassle so I thought I would try this gadget. The suction is excellent (on a flat surface) so on granite it is great, very stable. It takes a few minutes to get used to but overall the results are excellent. It is important to be smooth with not too much pressure as you draw the blade through the 'V' of the sharpening blades but you soon get the right feel for what you are doing and after that it's absolutely fine. Well worth the money so far.

Very easy to use, immediate shaving of blade could be seen, done what was expected knife sharp again.

It works but not really the ideal angle for my decent German Wusthof knife set. Looks like it will wear out quickly...

actually does what says it does: sharpens without effort. I didn't try it on serrated blade yet (it claims also work on them)

We used it right away and worked on several dull knives, amazingly. I like that it is so nice and tiny to tuck in the drawer with my knives.

It is so easy to use. Just put down lever so suction cup locks down to your table. Glide knives through without putting pressure down on knife. I did each knife 20 times through it. Makes all your knives like new with very sharp blade!
