It's not that big but has it all for testing what you want it was cheep and it's easy to use if you know the basics of testing come with a 9v battery as well well worth the money

Does the job and very cheap

It's a nice little digital multimeter, supplied with decent quality test leads and a fairly frugal protective case (made of plastic, not rubber like the professional models). The display is large and clear, with an optional backlight that's easy to switch on but not possible to switch off without turning the whole meter off via the rotary knob. I have no way of checking the accuracy of its readings, but I'm not after ultra-precise measurements anyway; usually just an indication is enough. The achilles' heel of this meter, however, is the poorly-designed battery compartment and connector. It takes a 9 volt battery, which is one of the reasons I bought it (my previous meter took an exotic 12 volt battery that was very expensive to replace). However, the battery only just fits in the compartment, the connector (that plugs into the end of the 9v battery) has only just enough wire to get the battery connected, and one of the wires broke off from the connector as I tried to push the battery back into the tiny compartment. I was able to solder the wire back onto the connector rear terminal (although this required the plastic sleeving to be removed from the battery connector) and it now works fine. Still... a stupid design flaw. In future I will be taking the back cover off completely before changing the battery - that gives slightly more room for manoeuvre.
