GAME CHANGER
This thing is excellent. I have been a die hard knife collector since childhood.. despite having many sharpening stones over the years, and various instructional books and videos, I was never quite about to get the hang of it or achieve a decent edge with a stone. It was always very frustrating when my EDC knife would get dull as hell after just a couple months of use, typically resulting in a replacement. Now I can finally restore my dull knives to a usable state with this device.. it is amazing, extremely easy to use and self explanatory. Puts a factory clean edge on any blade, razor sharp and mirror polished.. this thing is a GAME CHANGER!

Super sharp knives after used, easy to used
The Work Sharp Ken Onion Knife Sharpener is an exceptional tool for anyone looking to maintain razor-sharp edges on their knives with professional-level precision. Here’s my detailed review: Pros: Customizable Angles: The adjustable angle guide (15° to 30°) provides incredible versatility, making it suitable for a wide range of blades, from kitchen knives to outdoor tools. Powerful Motor: The variable speed motor offers precise control, whether you're doing heavy sharpening or light honing, and handles tough tasks effortlessly. Flexible Belts: The high-quality abrasive belts allow for a smooth and even sharpening process, minimizing the risk of damaging the blade edge. Versatility: This tool can sharpen not just knives but also scissors, axes, and even garden tools, making it a valuable addition to any toolkit. Ease of Use: While it looks professional, the sharpener is surprisingly user-friendly. The intuitive design makes it easy for beginners to achieve excellent results with minimal effort. Cons: Learning Curve: Although the tool is user-friendly, achieving consistent results takes a bit of practice, especially for those new to powered sharpeners. Price: It’s pricier than basic sharpeners, but the performance and versatility justify the cost for serious users. Belt Replacement: The belts wear out over time, especially with frequent use, so you’ll need to replace them periodically, adding to the cost. Size: It’s larger than some manual sharpeners, so storage might be an issue if you have limited space. Final Thoughts: The Work Sharp Ken Onion Knife Sharpener is an excellent investment for those who value sharp, well-maintained blades. It’s versatile, powerful, and precise, making it suitable for both casual users and knife enthusiasts. While it comes at a higher price point, the results it delivers are worth it. If you’re serious about knife care, this tool won’t disappoint.

Simple, quick, good enough!
Great for a quick sharpening job or reprofile a blade. I don't know that you will get a razor sharp mirror finish from this but for cheaper blades it keeps them plenty sharp.

Worth the price!
My husband wanted a good knife sharpener for quite some time. He tried a few others that he kept seeing advertised, and didn’t love them. When I got him this one he was super happy with how great it worked. It sharpens great and doesn’t take forever like some of the others. It’s a good size, not too large. Easy to store in a small cabinet. Good quality and will most likely last for years!!

Great tool at an affordable price
Excellent sharpener, Strong enough to get those nicks and chips and precise enough to hone a perfect edge. FAR better than the hand work stone sharpener and the completely feckless "V" shaped carbide trash.

Easy to use even on the 1st time
Works great! First use was on my pocket knife and I was worried I would get an uneven edge since it was my first time using. It was easy to use, slightly uneven edge on first use but I'll get better with it the more I use it. My old way of sharpening pocket knives was with my bench grinder, piece of circular plywood instead of a grinding wheel, and some polishing compound. This method produced a mirror finish edge but left A LOT of room for error and unevenness. None of that happened with the Work Sharp. It is very controllable followiung the quick reference guide, I sharpened my pretty dull edc pocket knife in minutes using the recommended 3 sandpaper bands.
