Missing key tracks
Good value. Loads of good music for little money. But not a proper best of as it's missing his most important recording "a change is gonna come" and two other important songs: Bring it on home to me and Twistin the night away.

Great voice
I love this singer. Played the album and loved it. Nice to see You Send Me as one of the title listings. Heard that many years ago. It's been ages since I heard it. There are some covers of songs done here by Sam Cooke. Ol' Man River is one I normally associate with Paul Robeson. This is a lovely album.

Soul for the Soul
I always LOVED Sam Cooke and I am enjoying listening all over again. his gentle tones massage my emotions and leave me in a very mellow mood. This music brings back very happy memories and seems to stand the test of time! It is also excellent value for money with the number of his best songs.

1957 and the music is soft and classic Sam Cooke. There is a reason why music in the 50s and 60s broke all barriers. Race didn't matter, where you lived didn't matter, what party you voted for didn't matter, only the music matter and it changed a generation for good. If you have never heard this, or maybe only a song or so, puck it up, turn the lights low and let the magic happen.
