Great little water bottle even though my 6yo peeg divas won't touch it
Easy to use and doesn't drip. I'm still giving this 5 stars even though I've had it for several weeks and my guinea pigs haven't even so much as tried to lick it lol. (It's half empty in my photo bc I use it to refill the other water bottle so it doesn't stagnate) It's just so easy to install, refill and clean. You can even disassemble the nozzle to give it a thorough clean! The only gripe I have is that they "key" that unscrews the nozzle doesn't have a dedicated storage spot on the water bottle so my ADHD solution is to hang it off of it with a piece of yarn. There's absolutely no way I'm going to be able to keep up with the key for longer than, oh,] 3.5 seconds otherwise. As for the guinea pigs not taking to it... to be fair they're almost 6 years old and have never been exposed to this type of water bottle before. I imagine that if I'd known about this 6 years ago they'd have taken to it immediately. Guinea pigs are notoriously picky about random things so it doesn't surprise me that mine have decided they don't want to put their picky little mouths on this weirdo nozzle. I'm still leaving it in their cage right beside their other (leaky) water bottle because I still have hope that one day they'll get curious and be like "ohhhh THAT'S what this is" haha. It just irks me the idea that I have to spend another $10-20 on a ball hearing water bottle that is going to leak eventually no matter what. I've literally never had one that doesn't. Sure it may take a year or more for the little o ring to fall out of the nozzle, but it always happens eventually. I really wanted to give this one a try so I don't blame the product for my guinea pigs being divas.

No backwash, easy to clean and refill.
We love these bottles because our pigs can't backwash into them keeping them cleaner for a longer time. It is still good to remove the nozzle and clean it out occasionally though. It also attaches nicely to the side of their cage. Our cage is made out of grid wire panels. Thes also do not leak. The plastic is durable and it is easy to refill. I think it is definitely great for the price. We have tried many different bottles over the years, and these are our favorite so far!

Decent water bottles, better for bar cage, could be sturdier
I purchased 2 of the lg size to hang on the outside of a cage and 1 med for inside a glass aquarium. I have mixed feelings about them. Summary Review: Great for use with traditional animal cages where you can hang it on the outside, but only works in aquariums if your small animal doesn't chew up plastic. You have to be careful when cleaning them or around them as the plastic is flimsy and easy to break causing leakage. We broke 2 out of 3 of them. I am 50/50 on weather or not I will buy again. Detailed Review: We had 2 male rats in an aquarium because they didn't get along with the other males. We were very excited to find a water bottle with suction cups because they constantly knocked over their water bottle. However, it worked much better in theory than reality. The suction cups would have worked great but the rats kept chewing through them. They also chewed up the plastic lid. After one of them died, we moved the other rat back into the males' cage and used the included bracket to attach the med bottle to the cage. It worked much better once the rats could no longer chew on it. However, the medium bottle and one of the large bottles broke while cleaning the cage and started leaking horribly. The second large bottle still works perfectly with no leaks. I will be replacing the large broken one but plan to hold off on the medium until I see how the large hold up long term.

Easy to use and does not leak
I have two of these for my pet rats and they work great! I love how they hang on the outside of the cage and makes for easy filling from the outside. There is no signs of leaking and they get water out of them easily. I just purchased two more of the next size up to add to their cage.

Tragic decision for my poor mouse Munchkin
My two pet mice Munchkin and Topsy have been using the tiny-sized LIXIT bottles, which have to be attached to their glass aquarium cages with Extra Strength Velcro. They dispensed water fine, with no leaking. Unfortunately, over time the LIXITS in each of their enclosures would not stick well with the Velcro, so I sought another solution, fearing that they would thirst to death after constantly finding the bottles off the glass and lying in the litter of their cage. So, I bought two Midwest bottles for my little ones recently. Topsy is smart, because HE keeps trying to remove the blue top and he carries it from the top of the contraption and deposits it in the far corner of this litter. Even though I can easily withdraw water from the nozzle with light finger pressure, I noticed that some reviews on here mentioned how little mice and hamsters cannot seem to get the knack of drinking from them. I noticed that Munchkin was not running on her wheel today. I THOUGHT she was getting water from her nice new water feeder with suction cups. Well, to my horror and sorrow, I found my poor little girl burrowed in her litter DEAD. I believe she died of thirst. I am heartbroken. If anyone knows of another DECENT water bottle that can be used on glass aquariums, PLEASE let me know.

Good but hard to take spout apart
It's the best I've found yet for leaks. But it's impossible to get the spout off with the plastic tool it comes with. One of the two bottles I received wasn't on right and was crooked so I tried to take off and it just tore up the tool.. I've Purchased four of these total and none of them actually are able to unscrew. Other than that my pigs and I definitely prefer this one over the ball types for leaks alone. Note there still is some drips while drinking but not a constant drip.

Smaller that you might think.
It's a nice thing and it wrks well but it's really quite small. Doesn't last long for 2 guinea pigs. Probably 5 star for hamsters etc.
