Hi. Over the moon. Upgrade on my Sky router brought a speed i never expected. But I have my driving sims in the shed 30 Ft away. lol. No problem the cable was cheap, came with fittings to allow me to route it along the fence. The speed was the same as in the gaming room where the router is. Excellent value and did what it does best. Fast.

I was in desperate need of a wired internet connection for my PC as some of my online games were unplayable due to my poor wifi adapter. I got this cable and I'm more than happy with the quality. The cable is surrounded by a corded sleeve to protect the wires which meant I could route the cable along the skirting boards and under the carpet knowing that it will be safe from wear. As soon as I plugged it in, I got 5x the original internet download speeds which I'm more than happy with as it means I'm getting the most out of the internet package I'm paying for. So far, it's been solid, my internet connection has be consistant with no dips in performance meaning I can play all my online competitive games without lag! Overall, for the money and the quality, I'm glad I got this. 30 meters was a bit too long but I know if ever I move my setup, I'll still have plenty of cable to reroute if needed!

What can i say it an eternity cable but it is a solid one the ends are also solid and fit snug. The length is very hand and dispite that has massively increased the download speed. So good solid product that does the job. No idea how much it should cost but I'm happy with what I got for the money. Everything else delivery blah blah blah was fine so no issues here

Please see my photos When this cable arrived I was so impressed with its weight. Considering it is advertised as being SFTP type.............. Screened Shielded Twisted Pair (SSTP), also referred to as Screened Foiled Twisted Pair (SFTP) all but eliminates alien crosstalk and greatly improves noise resistance making it the ideal networking cable in high EMI environments such as power stations, data centres, factories, and hospitals. ......and being strongly braided. It certainly seemed to be that when I first looked at it. Weighing it, see photo, this 20m of cable weighed over half as much again as other comparably priced cables of the same length. The weaving on the material braiding is also excellent. The plugs are well made at either end, note due to the weight and slight inflexibility of the cables be careful if bending or shaping if near to where it is plugged in. Do the shaping and bending first and then plug it in to what is needed, avoid undue pressure and stress on the plug and socket. I am only using this on a std LAN and need 1Gb speeds, not being used for POE etc or anything faster. In that respect the performance is good and as expected. Hopefully there will be some future proofing by using this cable in terms of its rated throughput. Being a round, and not flattened, cable type means it is not as easy to conceal under carpets, it does come with a few clips, possibly more needed. But it is shielded twisted pairs that are in turn all foil lined shielded, so cross talk and external interference is minimised. Overall VERY impressed with this cable and would not hesitate to buy again as needed. I do hope this review has been useful.

Good quality cable, connectivity was great so good value for money

The type of shielding on a copper cable impacts its stability, performance, speed, the longevity of the cable and that of your network. These are the most widely used types of shielding available for Ethernet cables and what they mean. Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable has no shielding. This is the most used and most basic type of cable. The cable contains pairs of wires twisted together to help reduce and prevent electromagnetic interference. Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cables also have twisted wires, which are then wrapped with a shielding or screening material, typically a foil wrapping or a copper braid jacket. Foil Twisted Pair (FTP) cables are a bit different, with each twisted pair of cables wrapped in its own shielding of foil to protect the cable from EMI and crosstalk. Shielded Foil Twisted Pair (S/FTP) cables combine FTP and STP shielding types. The wires inside the cable are twisted and then shielded with a foil wrapping, then the 4-pair grouping of foiled wires are shielded by a wrapping of either foil or a flexible braided screening. This provides the highest level of protection against EMI and crosstalk.

Für eine stabile und schnelle Internetverbindung in meinem Zuhause habe ich mir das Cat-8 Ethernet-Kabel in der 25-Meter-Version zugelegt. Meine Erwartungen wurden nicht nur erfüllt, sondern in vielerlei Hinsicht übertroffen. Schon beim Auspacken war ich von der robusten Verarbeitungsqualität beeindruckt. Das Kabel macht einen langlebigen Eindruck, und die Stecker sitzen sicher und straff in den Buchsen – kein Wackeln, kein Verrutschen. Die Abschirmung des Kabels scheint ebenfalls sehr effektiv zu sein, denn seit ich es benutze, habe ich keinerlei Verbindungsprobleme mehr. Besonders die konstant hohe Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist ein großer Pluspunkt. Die Länge von 5 Metern erwies sich als perfekt für meinen Bedarf: flexibel genug, um das Kabel bequem zu verlegen, aber nicht so lang, dass es unhandlich wird. Zudem war die Installation ein Kinderspiel – einstecken und loslegen. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist, dass das Kabel anfangs etwas steif war. Das hat sich nach einigen Tagen gelegt, aber es ist ratsam, beim Verlegen etwas Geduld mitzubringen. Insgesamt bin ich mit diesem LAN-Kabel äußerst zufrieden. Es bietet eine großartige Kombination aus Qualität, Zuverlässigkeit und Performance. Sent the wrong length. Thankfully, it was just enough, but I don’t feel like returning it and wasting my time. Will never buy from them again.

Realmente se nota la diferencia de velocidad en general de usar un cable Cat 8 al Cat 5 que tenia montado, el precio me parece aceptable, por la diferencia de precio con un Cat 7 no vale la pena mejor el máximo y te curas en salud, la calidad a la vista y al tacto es muy buena, un poco rígido... pero bien, lo más práctico es comprar el de 1,5 metros el de 1 mtrs. se me queda un poco corto.
