Contigo Jackson Water Bottle 24 oz Glacier

This water bottle is great! It’s a very large size, so I just fill it up in the morning and it lasts me all day. It keeps my water fresh and tasting great because, unlike some other water bottles, it’s very easy to clean and doesn’t retain odors. As long as you screw the lid on tightly and lock it, the bottle is completely leak proof, even when it’s upside down in my purse for several hours. It’s very easy to use and fill. The lid screws on and off easily. The lock is simple and easy to use. The auto seal function is great and helps me keep the spout clean. The bottle is made from very durable and high quality BPA-free plastic and should last a very long time. Consequently, it’s a great value for the price.

These bottles are my absolute favorite! I’ve bought two sets already because they’re that reliable. The AUTOPOP lid makes them super easy to use, and they don’t spill — even when I don’t use the lock. I can toss one in my bag without worrying about leaks. If I had to find a downside, it would be that I wish they came in a slightly larger size, since 24 oz doesn’t always last me through the day. But for convenience, durability, and peace of mind, these are hard to beat.

I bought these for the RV. My husband and I liked them so much I bought two more for home. I don't like complicated lids or straws, and I want it to be easy to clean. These absolutely fit the bill. The wide mouth allows for large ice cubes. The lid can lock so it doesn't accidentally pop open. One handed use. I love them.

Size and quality are great. 24 oz is big enough to hold ice AND enough liquid for a workout. handle is steady, lock perfect, no leaks. BUT the rubber washer inside the top comes out when you dishwasher it sometimes and it's a pain to push back inside. BUT there is no better 24 oz bottle out there! One more thing. The color on this pair- I didn't realize the handle would be white. I like the other colors ( see other sellers) where the handle is same color as is on the top design. Update: I discovered that another brand has a rubber washer that is easier to put back in. I suggest this Contigo water bottle over them, because the carry handle/drinking area is better on Contigo, but I think Contigo should redesign it's washer to be like the Owala bottle, which only took a dull knife to push back in, while contigo requires a fork on one side to hold it in awkwardly, and then a knife to push around the other half.

I was disappointed when I couldn’t replace my old Contigo bottles with exact same thing. So, I bought one of these instead and after a few days ordered two more. This simplest, least expensive bottle I saw from Contigo works great. That big cap is not in the way when drinking. It’s easy to open and close. So far the seal is 100% effective. I filled it all the way to the top with ice and water and the lid wouldn’t open when I tried to get a drink an hour or so later. It turns out that the cold caused a vacuum to form in the bottle and the seal was holding the lid down. Cracked the lid by unscrewing it and tightened it back….no more problems……my fault. Tight seal! The water flow is much, much faster than my old bottles. I drink more without even thinking about it. The straight through spout flows at a high rate. This bottle can go in the top rack of the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The cap is uncomplicated so really no crevices or hidden pieces to hold or hide any stuff. The latch mechanism is essentially external to the drinking part and is uncomplicated in design. Finally, the shape of the 32 ounce flask fits my normal sized guy hands just fine. The narrower neck should make it okay for most people I like it; a lot!

Wow! It’s rare that I come back to the Amazon website to leave a review this soon after receiving an item. This water bottle is perfect. Absolutely perfect. No internal mechanism or straw to get moldy. A very decisive pop-to-open, Perfect size, a nice little hour-glass shape to grip for even small hands, a hook to attach to a ‘beener’. Easy to wash which I’ll do daily to keep it fresh, Sturdy plastic (that doesn’t make all that crunchy noise that you get with the thin single-use bottles). And it locks for when you stow it and don’t want it to pop open unexpectedly. I’m going to buy another one now, cause the price will probably go up by the time this one starts to show wear. OMG - I love this bottle!!!!

Thus, a number of unrelated plastics can carry a code 7, including Tritan, polycarbonate, nylon and even the newer bio-plastics. Many well-known manufacturers identify their products made from Tritan with code 7.
