Excellent epoxy, but requires careful handling...
This is excellent epoxy, sets up fast and hardens to a very strong bond. The tubes come sealed, so unless there is some major abuse during shipping there shouldn't be any leaks. Once it's open, you do have to be careful to put the caps on tightly, and keep the tubes in some sort of tray. Also, be sure to clean the threads after using, so as not to fowl the caps with goop. Careful use will enable you to avoid the sort of problems I see others complaining about.

This brand of epoxy came highly recommended on the interwebs
This brand of epoxy came highly recommended on the interwebs. It is pretty pricey for the small quantity you receive but is more than enough for any small job. This epoxy has a longer cure time but also creates a stronger bond because of it. I used it to fasten some wooden knife handles and it did a great job.

Best epoxy for me
I like Devon for many repairs. The 2 separate tubs are the best and hard to find

Love the longer work time
I like the clear epoxies in general, but what I like about this one in particular is the longer work time. It claims 30 minutes, but I am getting 10-15 before it gets a little too viscous to work with(to be fair, I'm using it in an application where it needs to be pretty thin, so you might be okay with it thicker than I require). Regardless, that's a lot better than the 5-minute stuff when you need the extra time.

Great product for gun stock repairs
I use this for gun stock repairs along with bamboo or other wooden dowles, works fantastic, holds up to oils and gun solvents, Ive repaird Garands, SKS, K98's and other higher powered rifles and I've never had one of my crack repairs fail.

Good product
Hooray! We glued our Hallmark Keepsake ornaments back together. They are almost impossible to repair but, with a little patience this product does the trick. We had a horse with a broken leg and Peyton Manning had no football in his hand. Both are good as new.

Leaking Tube of Epoxy
I ordered this item despite a previous review because I needed the slower setting 2 ton epoxy. It arrived all sticky and leaking onto another item which fortunately was in a plastic bag and not harmed. Only one tube was leaking and it was the one on which the bottom crimp was folded over probably to better fit it into the packaging. This most likely resulted in a pin hole through which the epoxy escaped as the ambient pressure dropped during the plane ride between Phoenix and Boston. So I called the 800 phone number on the package to register my complaint and offer the above diagnosis of the defective packaging. I was told that the only problem was that the item was out of date and that the code stamped on the crimp seal indicated that it was from 2006. It seems unlikely to me that Amazon would ship a leaking 7 year old sticky package to me, but who am I to argue with the experts.
