Cubilux CB5 USB Audio Interface, 5 In 1, 96 kHz / 24 Bit, for Recording

I updated from 3 to 5!! Well I had big expectations, I tried many settings in Reaper with WASAPI and ASIO4ALL, I can see the device in both but only WASAPI give signal to Reaper. I can't get the two mic inputs too work together, as each of them is detected as a difference device, and each device for some strange reason are stereo... really just the mono duplicated in each channel. The quality of the ADC is decent, good sound, but if I can't make the left and right channel to work together I will return it. I don't know if my device is defective or if is the normal behavior of this device. UPDATE: This is much better of what I expected, but you need to get your hands on it. Actually each mic input is Stereo! the AUX in is Stereo two, so you have 6 channels inputs, or 3 stereo ins, But... each stereo channel is a separate audio device. Then the problem is that in Windows you need to use VB-Audio Voicemeeter (Free or Paid) or JACK Audio Connection Kit (Free & Open Source) Why? because you need to group all the separated audio devices that the Cubilux has inside into one virtual device, that your preferd DAW can read and assing. In android, because yes, this works on Android!! just get a pro Data cable, (Currently using the one that comes with the Arturia Minifuse 2 OTG) And magic!! The first mic input allows left and right channel separatedly and it's visible in some apps, I tried N-Track and Black Magic Camera, I recorded stereo making my one trrs to left trs and right trs to connect to mics in the first mic channel. This device has so much potential but you need to do some research and many tests to understand what you can do?

Works for what I needed it for. If this was under £20 it would be a good deal.

I found this on accident and decided to try it out because it seemed perfect for my use cases. I’ve had this sound card for about two weeks. So to start It Exceeds expectations by actually working with a phone even though says it does not. I got both my iPhone 13 Pro and an Samsung phone to recognize it for my music producing apps over an otg dongle. Not only am I saving in size with this I save a little bit of money by not having to use a larger audio interface for inputs which is usually our only option. Im about to order their even smaller one from them to test and see if can do what this one does. It could be one of the best solutions for audio input for phones in my use cases. On the windows PC/steam deck everything worked perfectly as promised. I tested it out and OBS with all the inputs and both the outputs can be used all at the same time. I don’t think you can find another sound card solution that has this many stereo inputs plus the two stereo outputs at this size and excellent build quality. Oh and it’s plug and play with no sketchy driver download situation.

Funktioniert sofort am Mac und stellt einwandfrei die beschriebenen Ein- und Ausgänge zur Verfügung, was für meinen Apple M3 Max mit lediglich einem Kopfhörerausgang ohne Line-out eine wichtige Erweiterung für jeden Musiker und Tontechniker ist. Früher war das mal ein Kombiausgang am Mac. Heute braucht man dieses kleine Spitzengerät.
