Silentnight Deep Sleep Duvet - 10.5 Tog, Single

I bought this single duvet for use in my spare room. It is warm and yet lightweight and really comfortable to sleep under. The duvet arrived tightly wrapped but was easy to get out of the packaging and quickly expanded out to a decent thickness. One important feature for me is that it is hypoallergenic, the filling being synthetic rather than feather. As I have a friend who has skin allergies, it’s important to me that when they stay over the bedding is as “safe” as I can make it. So using this in conjunction with a good quality cover achieves some peace of mind. For this reason, it’s also good that it’s machine washable. At 10.5 tog the duvet is warm (but not too warm!) most of the year round although my spare room does get a bit cold in winter so I sometimes add a throw over the top for additional comfort. As with other Silentnight products I’ve used, the quality is very good with the duvet being well made and even after washing, no clumping in the filling. Overall, I very much recommend this product.

Bought this to replace an old tired duvet. Currently have both on at 15 tog and they're perfect for the winter in my cold house. They are weighty but not too heavy, defintely comfy and has a quality feel. When the summer finally arrives i'll be looking forward to removing the heavier tog duvet and having a lighter and cooler duvet for the summer time!

This is a high-quality duvet that actually fits the "double" size perfectly. The hollowfibre filling is distributed evenly and doesn't clump together in the corners. Why I prefer 7.5 Tog: Breathability: It allows for much better airflow than the thicker 13.5 tog versions. Ease of Washing: Being a bit thinner, it actually fits in my home washing machine and dries much faster. All-Season: For me, this works perfectly for 90% of the year. On the very coldest nights, I just add a small throw on top. It's soft, hypoallergenic, and feels very premium for the price.

Quilt is great, warm and soft, maybe not for people who like heavy weight quilts. Shake delivery was delayed. However product I would recommend.

The thickness of this is great. I use it on a small double bed for a better aesthetically pleasing look but would still look good on a normal king sized bed. It’s comfortable and very warm yet also easy to cool down with the simple ‘one leg in one leg out’ method haha. After having it for a year the filling is still all in the right place and durable and hasn’t mushed up internally which I really appreciate as I’ve always had that problem with previous duvets. As it’s a bigger duvet putting the covers on is a trick but like any duvet it’s always a hassle. I’d personally say it’s worth the money as they are meant to last and so far it’s very promising during UK summers and winters.

I read a few of the 1 star reviews, which nearly put me off buying one of these. In the end I took a punt because there were 10s of thousands of 5 star reviews. I bought the king all-seasons version, which consists of two duvets in one package... a 10.5 tog and a 4.5 tog. Just taking them out of the bag, I could immediately see and feel their quality. They were clean, soft and the filling fluffed up nicely after a quick shake. We're just stepping into spring now, so I only need the 10.5 tog, so I began to separate the duvets. They're held together by six poppets, one in each corner and one halfway along each longer length. This is more functional and a better design over my old duvets, which only had four poppets. I didn't physically measure the duvets, but the 10.5 tog does fit perfectly into my king duvet cover, so I must assume the size is correct. On getting into bed, I immediately felt the improved quality of the duvet. The 10.5 tog felt even warmer than both the old duvets combined (which were 13 tog). I have every confidence that, for winter, when adding the 4.5 tog, the duvets will be very snug. Just recently, we've enjoyed a spell of warm weather, so the 10.5 tog is proving a little too warm if I'm honest. But not so warm that I can't sleep. The duvet has a nice airy feel to it and, so far, keeps its shape in the cover. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase and, for its use all year round, it offers good value for money. I'd happily recommend it.

Il piumino è di buona fattura e consistenza, non è una sottiletta piatta! Questo gli conferisce una piacevole morbidezza. È leggero ma non troppo, nei mesi primaverili e autunnali riesce a tenere il giusto tepore anche nelle giornate più "fredde" senza, però, essere opprimente. Spedito (in un ottimo imballo) dall' Inghilterra (patria dei piumoni) in soli 3 giorni con Prime. Ottimo acquisto consigliato!
