Caused my PS5 the Blue light of Death
I installed this as soon as I got it. It seemed to work great, till about a week ago, when I tried to start up my PS5 from Rest Mode. This caused the BLUE LIGHT OF DEATH. I only found out, after troubleshooting everything, and after disconnecting EBERYTHING INCLUDING MY AIR BLOWER, I removed this from the system, and now it turns on. SO the conclusion I, and the Dony Tech support operator, came up with is that it is faulty,and/or is causing the system to require more power than the PS5 is capable of producing to run the system and everything else. It's running now WITHOUT this expansion memory, and WITH an external hard drive, and the Blower/controller charger connected to it. I need a new internal expansion card though.

Good purchase just needs a different heat sink
Drive works as intended. Though the heat sink housing is rather on the lacking side. One side with no fins to help with the heat input does increase the higher speed on my fan.
