Just like having a lap top, recommend this product and it’s well worth the asking price. Easy to use and makes writing on iPad so much easier

Fair too expensive for what it is but you can’t beat it

Excellent addition to owning the iPad Pro 13, if you've spent the money on that then you might as well extend it to this keyboard/case, it is a really high quality item, the price reflects this, the materials and the design are top notch. The pass through charging is the way to go as it has a propriety connection to the back of the iPad that charges it a lot faster as it connects strait to the battery. The track pad is really nice to use, the best I've ever used, fantastic touch detection, smooth and satisfyingly cool to the touch, as is the rest of the case as it's mostly made of metals, also the touch gestures work really well on it too, make sure to check out youtube to learn what gestures you can do on it, basically, all the ones you can do on the screen.

Stylish, perfect fit and form, a little heavy but in a quality feeling way. Connectivity as with all Apple products is perfect. Superb product!

This keypad is so good that I have not used my laptop-top since buying this. It has transformed the iPad into something that is amazingly useful for everyday life and work. As you would expect, the keypad works seamlessly with the IPad and the quality shines though. The touch on the keys is brilliant. The best keypad I’ve ever used. Just enough firmness and ‘recoil’. The back-lighting is excellent and means you can use the keyboard in all conditions. I was slightly worried it would mark easily. But it hasn’t, after all couple of months of solid daily use. It’s expensive - a bit too expensive - but a game-changer for my use of the IPad. Get one, you won’t be disappointed.

I love this keyboard. Keyboards are a personal preference and so it’s difficult to say why i like it. The keys are soft sounding and feel nice. The ipad attaches to it by magnets and it does stick well to the back. It hasn’t fallen off and the overall look of the protective element of the case is nice. The soft touch exterior does mark easily though. The only reason why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is purely the cost. It is very expensive and it is good quality but it still just seems excessive. However, i am pleased with it so if you can afford it it is worth having.

I have tried other, less expensive keyboard cases, but there is no doubt that the Apple Magic Keyboard is the best. I am glad I decided to pay the extra cost.

Firstly, the good things... It's a great backlit keyboard and trackpad, which makes the iPad somewhat like a normal laptop. It's very comfortable to type on with many of the standard (Mac) keystrokes accepted, such as <cmd><tab> for switching between applications and <cmd><space> for search/application name, etc.. The keyboard and trackpad really is just like using any Mac keyboard (not the awful 2015-1019 MBP though!). The not-so good annoyances.... When closed, it's fiddly to open because there's no notch between the bottom and top of the case -- all Macbooks have this and it's easy to open. Alas this means that you need your fingernails and it's best to open it when vertical. There's quite limited angles for tilting the screen, definitely not going to lay anywhere near flat. The charger port is fiddly to insert and remove the charging cable as it's partly obscured by the case The iPadOS keyboard and trackpad integration is good but not complete. There's a round circle icon where there'd be an arrow. This works well but there no "hover" integration with websites, e.g. with a laptop/desktop images may move when the mouse is moved over an icon/image. This doesn't happen with Safari on the iPad with the trackpad. Similarly some of the mouse gestures aren't available such as click and drag left for previous page. When closed, the case is OK, but the edges and corners aren't protected particularly well. It needs another "slip case" for use in a bag, just like any normal laptop. The bad things... Weight, centre of gravity is at the back of the open iPad + keyboard. This means that if you're sitting on a chair it will fall off your lap as the weight is at the back and you need to rest your wrists on the keyboard to keep it on your lap, so no hands-free. You cannot have the screen angled further forwards with the double-magic hinge which would have pulled the centre of gravity a little closer. The really poor thing is the Magic Keyboard is a one-trick-pony. Great for typing, doesn't work as a general-purpose case so you need to buy a second case for use when the iPad is used standalone, e.g. reading in the sofa or in bed. There's some specialist Magic Keyboard Compatible cases which only protect the back of the iPad and the lower edge is open; no screen protection. These cases are expensive and not great. Am trying a magnetic case which I hope will be easy to switch the iPad over from "laptop with keyboard" mode to tablet mode. There's a disappointing feel to the edge of the Magic Keyboard. It's like there's a cheapo lip around the edges, not the refined, quality feel one normally gets on a MacBook. Not keen on the weight distribution when moving it off the desk by gripping the palm rests, again, not like a standard MacBook. All in all, for the one trick it does, typing on a proper keyboard with trackpad, it's great. Unfortunately it is let down by the other annoyances. One hopes that Apple will improve the operating system integration to make it more Mac like. I don't regret buying it as it will work when travelling; just could be better -- when I get the slip case and second iPad cover for tablet mode.

Before I bought this item I did buy a cheaper model which did not work , This apple model works well
