Perfect fit for my DeWalt table saw. I just got a new dado set and I've never had one on this saw. These MDF inserts are perfect. They are "exactly" the same size as the opening, so they might be too snug and need a small adjustment with some sandpaper, but I like it being press to fit. The backing is varying thickness which gives it stiffness much like the metal one that comes with the saw. Because this is a multi pack I am able to set one up for my thin kerf laminate blade and several of my dado sizes. Good purchase. Stable. Solid functioning. And flexible where it matters.

These fit nicely into the insert slot. Every one of them had a slight (one more than slight) warp making them not sit flat into the insert space. The end that the wood is pushed towards sat a tad above the table making the wood catch. I had to run them through the planer. It would have been nice not to have to modify them.

This set of 4 inserts look great out of the box. Each piece varies in (a loose-fit) and each is not flat, as reviewed by previous buyers. These are out-of-flat by <2mm, enough to make them useless. I placed them in a 350deg oven for 8 minutes to stress relieve and then set them in a press, restrained, while they cooled in a restrained flat condition. That worked but it's not ideal but is adequate for my DW7491 I purchased these on the chance that the flatness issue was resolved by mfr or, at worst case, I would have templates to make my own. They're ok because they're $6 each. It's not worth the hassle to return

Was looking for a simple way to fine tune my miter saw cuts. This item installs easy by removing the current base plate and dropping this one in its place. and keeps the saw blade cutting true. Came in a pack, so there are plenty if needed. The strip would have to be changed if one cut on a vertical cut angle. I highly recommend this product!

I’ve had good luck with these so far on my table saw. It’s nice to have 4 and in my opinion the price is right. I saw a few reviews complaining about the particle board material but I don’t mind it. It’s good to have the soft material because I don’t have to worry about it damaging my fine carpentry blades before I make my first cuts. I think the quality of the material is fine, maybe just avoid getting it wet. I haven’t gotten it wet yet but that might cause it to degrade a bit. They fit my Dewalt DWE7491 table saw like a glove and if they don’t it wouldn’t be hard to shave down a little with a sander or even utility knife. It’s nice to have the screw holes too for making any leveling adjustments.

Outstanding! These fit into the slot better than the stock DeWalt inserts. They are sturdy, true, and easy to install. I'm very happy with them.

These fit okay but they are no where near flat. They are pretty significantly warped

I have 7491xe. These are very well made. Good MDF with a plastic coating making them smooth. Recieved 4 in total The are a very tight fit meaning little sanding would be needed at each end. Comes with screws. Other wise great product

All 4 inserts are bowed in such a way that they are unusable. They are bowed upwards at each end so that you hit the insert when feeding wood to the blade. Using the height adjusting screws will only make the issue worse. Unfortunately with Amazon, you only have a short time to return items, so I basically have no recourse. Useless and wasted money!!!
