It is a complete head ache. I bought 2 of these. One arrived that the probe is not working. I saw that the connection inside was cut. Contacted bluelab but needs a lot of video, photo and explanation. Last one was the edenic app is a pain in the ass to open. Reseted the phone, updated the software, reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, changed the password or email, try it with another phone, app would not open. Ending was to return it.

Dieser Monitor hatte jetzt 1Jahr zuverlässig meine hydroponische Anlage gemessen. Was für mich wichtig war eine einfache Kalibrierung und das Kontrollieren über die App. Ich kann den Guardian weiter empfehlen und gebe diesen auch nicht mehr ab!

I bought this unit because I figured 'why not?' All the great reviews, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. The biggest difference I can see when using this unit, is that the PH readings are much more accurate when the water is at different temps. The water is very cold here when it first comes out of the tap. This is when I notice the cheaper meters are very inaccurate. When the water warms up to room temperature, the cheaper units get more accurate. Bottom line; Most gardeners retrieve water from the tap and immediately mix their nutrients. So they don't get accurate readings. The Bluelab unit is WAY more accurate through all temperatures. This way, I get a much more accurate nutrient mix right off the bat, and don't have to worry about PH swings so much after the rez water reaches room temps. The calibration of the unit is very simple and straight forward. I now own 3 of these, and am getting ready to buy several more for my farm to table dispensary in northern MN.

I was beginning to think a continuous PH/PPM meter that actually works even existed. Ive tried so many and the all were garbage!! Finally Bluelab actually has one that works! And this this works perfect. No more jumping PH values and wondering which value to go by on when every second you look at it sways all over the place. This one is precise and shows a perfectly steady number at all times! Now I feel more comfortable knowing I have a meter that is dependable. Yes, it costs way more than these other brands, but at least this one works. Easy calibration and popped it right in my resovoir bucket hydro system and working like a champ. Thank-you!!!

I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews I’ve seen — most of it seems like user error. They say they can’t connect it to the Edenic App, but they’re missing one key step: you have to put the Guardian into PROVISION mode first (Settings → Temp button) before pairing. Almost like it’s not written in the instructions! Once it’s set up, it works flawlessly. I get real-time updates on my phone if anything drifts out of range, so I can fix it before feeding and avoid pH lockout issues. Super reliable, super convenient, and gives real peace of mind. Definitely worth the money 👌 I really wanted to spend the extra to go with the PH dosing model but unfortunately it’s missing a sensor probe that I needed
