Pyrex Storage 1-7/8-Cup Storage Dish, Clear with Red Lid

Used to be able to pick these up in Australia easily, unfortunately they have become rare as hens teeth and everyone buys the cheaper thinner ones with white lids that are far more delicate. The green lid ones are very useful but not the same, although they do have the thick glass.

Pricey for the volume, but good quality

Absolutely awesome

I love the shape of these bowls. They are great for soup among other things. They also work well for freezing things. After I purchased them, however, I found them cheaper on another site.

I had bought a cost-effective set of glass food storage containers and was so disappointed. I work in the food service industry and every kitchen I've worked in uses Pyrex and Rubbermaid. They're always worth the money/investment. THIS PARTICULAR PYREX is my favourite size (3-cup rectangular - red lid). Perfect for my husband's sandwiches on rye bread. We buy bread that is not the "standard" size so the sandwich specific containers are never big enough. Really it is just the perfect size for individually portioning anything. The lid is perfect. The glass quality is perfect. As mentioned before, Pyrex is always worth it and you'll never regret buying a Pyrex item.
