Review: Another useful tool to have to hand - A really useful tool to have in your kit! My son uses these and will sometimes put one on and turn it red when he starts to feel dysregulated, I say sometimes because no two meltdowns are the same! It's a tool in his kit of tools :) Quality wise it's really good, he's had his for a while and we've not had any problems. Review: Great product at a reasonable price - I bought these for my autistic son and they are brilliant. He can tell us when heโs happy or sad without having to verbalise it. Highly recommended to parents of autistic children.

A way to signal for help when needed
Useful silicone wristbands which act as a clear indicator if someone is struggling. This is especially useful for children with communication difficulties - imagine not being able to ask for help, or having to suffer in silence with difficult emotions, bullying etc - communication is so important. My son is older now but he did have this situation at school, and thinks they would be useful for children to be able to report to adults and support staff if struggling, in order to access appropriate support (for example a quiet one to one discussion with a trusted adult, a quite space, some time to calm down before things get any worse, or it may be some simple practical help which is needed). Or another child could help by noticing the band and getting some help. Obviously different techniques work for different children, and they would have to be happy to wear them, but for those these do work for, they could make a huge difference. They are also stretchy enough to fit an adult's wrist. As they are made from soft silicone, they're comfortable on the skin and can be easily washed. The messaging/colouring system is very clear and they're easy for school staff to spot. They could also be used in any children's activity groups, outside of school, to help a child access that particular group, and to reassure and inform staff about how a child is doing, which may not be obvious from appearance. They could also be used in small group activities as a fun way to signal whether a child considers something to be literally 'ok' or 'not ok', for example looking at social skills or PSE situations - I'm sure creative staff could think of other fun ways to use them in activities, to then help children to feel comfortable to use them when they need help, or don't.

Good for non-verbal communication
These would be great for a school setting where you have children who donโt always understand or communicate their feelings correctly. I am autistic and I use these in my day to day life to show the people around me how I am feeling and what kind of support I might need in that moment in time. They are quite comfortable I found as someone with many sensory sensitivities, I also have small wrists and they fit quite well on my small wrists. These are also very discrete and a great way for a child to informally communicate if they need help. I am someone who struggles verbally to ask for help so these are a great tool for me to be able to communicate that in a way that is accessible to me. I think these would also be great for those who do not yet feel comfortable in sharing how they feel with a teacher in class if they donโt want to bring attention to themselves. I do really recommend these, they are a great tool

Way too large for children
Brilliant vibrant band that I'm sure will help my ASD child in school. Unfortunately they are huge! Way too large for a 7 year old wrists, more fitting for adults, it easily slided over my hand.
