Blocked a Mohave Rattler
These are great snake gaiters IMO and I know they work. Two weeks ago while metal detecting I ran into a Mohave that tagged my calf. I felt the hard hit but no fangs got through. I think it was a dry bite since I did not see venom run down gaiter. I own several diffrent style snake gaiter leggings and these Frelaxy Snake Gaiters are my go to leggings. They have excellent features that make it easy to put on correctly and stay in place. Features include: velcro alignment, buckle foot and heel straps to keep tongue guard in place and keeps the gaiters from riding up leg or twisting. The poly plates that wrap calf are positioned so the the left overlaps with right covering weakspots between plates. I use these while working and prospecting in desert or woody areas known for snakes. Every year I run into Rattlers, cotton mouths, and copper heads.

worked well. I would have rated an 5 only problem I found was that the straps underneath kept coming out of their pocket and I would step on them. Would have been better if product had better strap for those ties. I liked the tightening strap at top of garter.

Good start, needs improvement.
Solid idea but as thin as these panels are, i'm not sure what types of snakes they will protect against. Coverage is good for the shins in the most vulnerable areas, and on the top of the foot. front, sides, and heel are not protected. Velcro and buckles work well together for a good fit. The instep flap is a bit uncomfortable if you really make it fit well, so you may have to keep it loose. The bottom tpu straps holding the gaiters on your shoe are going to wear out and there is not way to replace them. What they should do here is have two ends buckled, so when the center straps wear out, you could just insert new ones. Overall they work well against briars, debris, and sticks, but I'm not very confident about snakes.

Top strap broke while trying to tighten the accessory. DO NOT PULL ON THE STRAP IT WILL COME OFF
