Star Wars The Black Series Lando Calrissian 6-inch Figure

I have been a fan of Donald Glover since I started watching Community when season 1 was airing. I really enjoy his new show Atlanta as well, so to get a Donald Glover action figure is great, let alone for him to be cast as Lando Calrissian, which I think he’ll turn in an amazing performance for in Solo: A Star Wars Story. We’re 2 episodes into the new trilogy and haven’t heard a peep about Lando, would have liked if Glover was cast as Lando’s son in the new saga, but I think he’ll be a fitting Lando and what I’ve seen so far from the trailers, he’ll do really well. This figure is fantastic, Hasbro has started utilizing UV face printing tech and it really makes these so much more realistic and life like. Not only is the sculpt really strong and crisp, the uv face print really brings the sculpt to life. They’ve captured a great expression for Lando/Donald. I also really like the character design/aesthetics for the film, he’s not wearing the same thing we see him wear in Empire. He still has style and a general suaveness, he has a cape (which just rests on his shoulders like most Lando action figures). His tie around his collar is removable, and he comes with a pistol that has a removable barrel and can holster to his right leg. Articulation is standard fare here, it works and mostly looks good. I think the strongest points of this figure is the head sculpt, bright colors and paint applications. They all really make this figure pop compared to most figures we get from the Black Series, we get lots of beige, black and whites but not too many figures that have such a bright yellow color. I can’t get enough Star Wars action figures, love the Black Series, and I am really excited for another stand-alone Star Wars adventure. I think Hasbro did a stellar job with this character and his figure representation. Not only does it look just like the source, it has a great expression and bright colors and good accessories. If you’re a Lando fan, you’ll really want to grab this. So far I’ve grabbed 4 of the figures from this new film, Han, Lando, the Range Trooper and Qi’Ra, and all 4 of these are some of the best figures in the line to date. I haven’t seen the film yet but I already can’t wait to get more figures from the film. This figure comes FULLY APPROVED.

Very nice figure! Was really excited getting this in the mail today. I’m not as huge as collector as some people are, but I do enjoy a nice figure once in a while. I mean, especially if it’s of Donald Glover, have been following his career for such a long time and it only continues to improve! I cannot wait for his performance in Solo. Ok so on to the product! The details are amazing as usual. The figure itself is very pristine! The joints and all work great and nothing is too stiff. However, the box its in, came incredibly scuffed and dirty (like some kind of dirt). It was fully sealed and just shipped last night so it couldn’t of been UPS/USPS. I’m guessing i was just unlucky. I’m not really in the game for reselling (which btw this can make or break a price on an item). But i enjoy a clean box to display them in. Nonetheless! A must buy if you’re a Star Wars fan. I seen a few of the Solo figures released in stores and Lando seems to always be the first too go, so get your hands on this one before it’s too late!

I love my black series

This is so nice, head sculpt is dead on for Donald Glovers portrail of young Lando . Articulates well and has the swagger. If your a lando fan or just like Donald Glover, you can have your own like DonGlover to do stand up , music performances, or writing acting , and producing a variety of entertainment. For you 1/12 scale enjoyment Its well made

i got this for under 10 bucks and for that price these figs are not too bad. unfortunately that is not their original price tag and 20 is just too much for these figs. the quality was once amazing on these figs and the 20 dollar price tag was worth it but now days not so much really. If this wasn't a gift for a younger Star Wars fan i would not have purchased it. so far even the hard to find EU figs are staring to drop in price so if you are patient you can usually get what you are looking for for the retail price or below. Revan was once going for $75 and above.. now they are around 20. i copied my review for the Solo fig because this fig is in the same boat.

I got this bad boy on sale for $9.99! He’ll be standing next to his older Billy Dee Williams counterpart in my display! He’s got the fro-part! He comes with a scarf and a cloak that makes him look very dapper. Does he look like the Childish Gambino? Almost. But looks close enough when you stand 4 feet from the display. “Oh thank God. God bless you, Donald!”

I simply can't get enough of these black series figures and with the new waves that are being released the head sculpts have a amazing likeness to the movies characters. Excellent service one again. Arrived safe and sound.

What can I say, these actions figures are well made and look great! The kids are addicted to Star Wars and love playing with these realistic figures. If your looking for collectibles, look no further than the black series as they come in really nice packaging for display purposes.

Muy bonita y detallada, y a un precio muy bueno. Las figuras del Episodio VIII y de Solo, están a precios de risa en cualquier sitio, asi que aprovechad. Me he pedido también una de Lando clásico, pero ésta mola mucho.

Bought as a gift for a die hard Star Wars fan and he loved it!

En un principio dudé en comprarla ya que tenía descuento y por lo general las cosas con descuento en esta página me han llegado con defectos en los acabados de pintura de las figuras o los empaques todos aplastados. Pero me arriesgué, y que bien, porque la figura viene en perfecto detallado sin ningún ojo bizco ni manchas en su pintura. Además la caja donde viene llegó en perfecto estado y sin ningun raspón ni aplastadura. La figura es realmente recomendable porque representa al personaje tal cual. Se le puede quitar su capa, su bufanda y simplemente luce bien y está bien hecha. Solo pido a Amazon pida mas compromiso a algunos repartidores para que llamen al domicilio avisando que ya llegaron y no solo registren que pasaron por el domicilio por ahorrarse los muchachos tiempo y trabajo. De ahi en mas quede Bastante conforme con esta compra. Recomendable !!

Lo cierto es que me ha gustado, no Le puntuó con un cinco porque eso ya sería el top, y quiero pensar que aún se puede hacer mejor. Pero Si, es como para recomendarla
