Insta360 X3 Standard Removable Lens Guards

Don't buy OEM. These are great. And cheaper.

I use these on my X3 attached to my R7. It has been great and I prefer this over the sticky lens. If you're anticipating that these won't scratch, yes they will. The point is to protect the real lens and that's exactly what they do. These are plastic and they will scratch with debris and drops. I dropped my X3 and unfortunately the back lens guard cracked but the lens itself was completely perfect. Keep in mind that these aren't sealed so you must remove them and clean them from time to time to get the dust out. Also do NOT forget to turn on lens guard in your camera settings. If you don't, you will have noticeable stitching issues. Once thing that makes NO SENSE is that Insta360, at the time of this review, does not make the Lens Guards sold separately or as a pack. Why do I need to purchase the whole Removable Lens Guards that come with the base if the lens are removable?! That's incredibly stupid. It should be a 1 time purchase and an option to buy just the lens.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to install but not sure how well it will protect the lens. A bit pricy.

Horrible. I bring my camera for snowboarding and paddleboarding; condensation ruined the footage. They are ultra cheap plastic, and can easily pick up scratches. I don't even bother using them after the 3rd time. So much for an "adventure camera".

Nice that you can easily remove to clean. But they are VERY easily scratched. Not sure I would replace them vs buying something more durable.

Got scratched SO fast. Not great quality for the money!
